Search bar...

So i made a thread the other day about global agenda wondering if anyone had played it and what they thought. I then went to sleep and woke up the next day to see what people had said. I went to the Search Forums button and typed in Global Agenda and nothing came up. Is it just me or does the search bar not really work as well as advertised? Or am i an idiot?

Yeah...the major search bar is pretty much broken, but it's still a good idea to use it.
Especially if you're going to make a thread about something like a recent game.
EDIT: If you do a forum search after the main search bar, it works much better.

I typically use both the forum search bar and a Google search to complement it (and I think I've seen mods recommend that, too).

Just make sure your Google search includes "site:escapistmagazine.com" and it works great.

Most of the threads I make are usually original so I don't use the searchbar often. It doesn't seem to work all the time though...

I don't use the Search Bar.
Now, before you beat me to death with it,I'll tell you I do use the Search Forums button, on the top right of any thread. It gives you better results about the topic you want to check on and see if that topic has been done before. You can also use it to search for posts as well. If you can remember the words in that post, anyway.
