I'm currently looking for a thread that I know exists and have posted in before called "How Many Tabs Do You Currently Have Open?"[footnote]For those who care, I have 12 tabs open to 10 different websites.[/footnote]. Since I don't have it bookmarked and it's an older thread, I searched it.

And I can't find it.

Does the search bar, the same one we tell other 'Scapists to use all the time, not work every time? This has happened to me before and others as well (I'm sure you've seen a thread or two that started with a trepid[footnote]F--- you Firefox, trepid is so a word![/footnote] "I used the search bar but couldn't find anything...").

How many of you have had this happen before?

No, trepid. Like trepidation. One of my tabs was dictionary.com.

I use it before i make a thread, although I kinda made a few enemies a while back after an influx of new people meant we had a drastic increase on the number of repeat threads...and so i started linking the repeats to the originals...that made me popular.

It always works, although sometimes you have to re-phrase what you're searching for, I.E if you were looking for a Cat fails thread, then search cat fails, then lolcats, etc.

although i havent seen a tabs thread in a while (although im not around anywhere near as much as i was before.)

Search Bar? PAH, I SAY!

I use the Search Button, right there, next to "My Profile/Settings" as it is a lot more accurate and you can also use it to see if you've been mentioned in a discussion. I did that today as I was incredibly bored and I get mentioned in an RP I didn't even know existed.

As for discussion, no, the Search Bar doesn't work all the time.

I used to do that too. Though i did it very politely so I didn't get much ire.

Why not? You're one of the good ones, so to speak. These forums get a lot duller without people like you.
