In many of the games I have, the hero starts out as Average Joe. He fights the 1st easy level 1 soldiers or demons but usually, gets knocked out or finds something incredible. This however, makes Average Joe into Super Joe! Super Joe then goes through the game being super and liberally abuses his powers to get an edge. Is this a common occurence in games and if so, can you give any examples?
