I'm getting a 360 but I want to have two seperate accounts, one for me and my roomate. Is there a way to do this so we have seperate gamertags,stats,friends,etc?

Yes. Make two different accounts. Make one, then sign out then make another one by going to JOIN XBOX LIVE. That should do it.
Oh and BTW those are only 1 month Gold, I think.
EDIT: I have 4, 12 Month gold subscription accounts. My brother has 2. Making 6 total on my xbox.

yeah it's easy. me and my brother share accounts sometimes. ( when he didnt wanna pay 50$ ) and that works fine ( except when he changes my gamertag with my money GOD DAMN HIM) so yeah it's easy either way

Right now I have 4 live accounts, myself ( gold) my spouse and my oldest son each have their own, ( both are only silver though as they download things through my account) and a fourth thats sorta a " hiding out " account thats reserved for my youngest son.
