I love all the people mentioning Viva Pinata.
It's not like you're admitting you play with Barbie dolls; it's a great game!

Also,

I own the original Chrono Trigger on SNES and I play it still
What is the point of this one? "I'm ashamed to admit that I still play one of the greatest RPGs of all time".

Here's my one:

I find it really hard to play Resident Evil on the Gamecube because it actually scares the crap out of me.

I, who have downloaded strange and unusual things off the internet in order to play obscure and foreign games...
I, who has championed complexity, literary excellence and gaming as art...
I, who slaughtered countless evil emperors, dangerous dragons and tiny annoying goblin-things during the course of my existence as a gamer...
... am currently absolutely obsessed with Virtual Villagers and cannot be torn away. Lost in Blue as well, at that. In fact, anything with a "trapped on a desert island" theme is pretty much instantly compelling to me. I have no idea why. I've not seen a single episode of Lost!

Oh, and I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but first-person perspective can sometimes (read as: a god damn hell of a lot) make me nauseous. Like, actually physically sick. Some games are tolerable (Portal, despite flipping me about every which way, was actually not that bad), some games kind of suck (if I wasn't pulled back to third person I had to go lay down after an hour or two of Morrowind), and some are just absolutely unplayable (I can't even watch someone play Descent; it makes me want to vomit). This is probably one of the many reasons I favor adventure and RPG games.

A good year and change of my life was lost eternally to Everquest. Young, vital years where I should have been growing my circle of friends, doing better in school and nervously letting boys kiss me. Somehow being an elf with mind powers seemed cooler at the time.

My friend and I ( Please understand that he lives in Mass, and I live in Maine, and he only comes up maybe.....twice a year... ) Once spent the entire week his was visiting, playing oblivion.... And then the next time he came up......was wasted on Halo 3.......*sigh*

I lost 10 pounds of weight, because of Red alert 2.....

Although I've played many FF games I have yet to finish one....

I cried, when I found out that Westwood had been basically deleted by EA.

Because of the above, I have never bought a game that was by EA.

I am majorly addicted to the Total war series, and Warcrafts 1-3. ( I really couldn't get into WoW )

I LOVED the KOTOR series. ( Personally KOTOR 2 was better then the first. )

I think Halo is one of the worst game series ever
I hate anything to do with Xbox (original, Xbox 360 actually seems pretty good)
I liked Raiden from MGS2 from the start and enjoyed that Snake took a supporting role
I think FFVII and FFX are good but horribly overrated
can't stand Dragon Warrior games
don't care for most FPS's
has a weird "attraction" to Heather's Princess Heart costume in Silent Hill 3
don't really like the Sonic games for Genesis
Will NEVER EVER touch WoW, I think it's the prime example of the 'fat loser with no life gamer's' game
and I was somewhat popular when I was in school but preferred to be in a dark room playing games with one or two friends.
oh yeah, and I didn't really care that Aeris got pwned in FFVII
FFVIII is one of my favourite games ever, I think Squall and Zell are two of the greatest characters ever.
me and my friends have put hundreds of hours into Super Smash Bros. for N64 and we are proud of our skills in it
I have played MGS2 and Silent Hill 3 more than any other game, didn't stop until I had every secret and knew the storylines inside and out.

When I got Half-Life 2, I spent a full hour on the first level throwing bottles, cans, baskets and old shoes at the NPCs, giggling like a schoolgirl.

I have never played FFVII. In fact the only FF I've actually finished is Tactics.

A few years ago, I cheated on every single game I played. Singleplayer of course, I wouldn't stoop that low.

I enjoy Assassin's Creed, and despite its repetitiveness I don't think it deserves the flak it gets.

I played WoW for 2 years, and only managed 2 level-60 characters. My raiding experience amounts to the first few bosses in Zul'Farrak.

I am absolutely pathetic at RTS games, yet still play them. A lot. Just not online.

I'm a regular perpetrator of friendly fire on online FPS games. Not on purpose, I just suck at remembering which team I'm on.

I bought Hellgate and actually thought it was pretty good. Until the repetition set in. Now I think it's mediocre - not exactly good by any means, but not awful.

I have severe arachnaphobia. Any game level with spiders (that one level in Doom 3, the spider temple in Dark Messiah, etc) is guaranteed to creep the hell out of me. I actually have to chant "it's not real, it's not real, it's not real" when I play sometimes.

I...er...(pulls down cap to cover eyes) don't like HL2 (despite the fact that most people I've spoken to seem to think its the gameing equivilant of sex).

Also, facehuggers in AVP actually scare me...and I really mean terrify me.

I, shamefully, played around with the boob jiggleing physics in soul caliber 2 (come on...I'm only human)

Lastly, I still don't understand the plot of silent hill even though I've played it through 3 times

I like portal (it's not a confession, but I say this to prove I'm not a Valve's hater.)
I dislike star wars.
I dislike counter strike.
I dislike gears of war.
I don't hate halo 3.
Silent Hill 2 scares the hell out of me. Can't play it alone.
I hate TIM BURTON with a passion. (I know, I derailed)
I played and enjoyed Kirby Super Star.

I read the first 175 Replies to this thread before I deemed myself not as twisted as I originally thought I was.

I am a downright XBL achievement whore... I have a gamerscore of around 30k and Have played over 60 Games, and fully completed (1000 / 1000) a quarter of them.

-I have at least once used the vibrate function of my controller near my junk to see if I got any reaction... I didn't... Subsequently my ex-girlfriend did... Note the Term EX.
-I enjoyed Halo 3 For the Gameplay during the co-op campaign
-I Hate Final Fantasy 7, but Love Final Fantasy 8... In fact it's the only JRPG I've ever REALLY enjoyed.
-I remember the All weapons cheat for the original Tomb Raider game even though it's been at least 10 years since I've played it (due to my PS1 breaking) L2 R2 Tri L1 L1 O R2 L2 FYI
-I have once managed to get it up after thinking about Lara Croft.
-I was gullible enough to believe that at the end of TR2 there was a cheat to see Lara get into the shower naked I tried for 3 weeks to eventually see it, but had to give up.
-On the night that I was supposed to be writing a 4,000 word essay for my music contextual studies lectures at university, I was playing a SNES emulator of Super Mario Brothers 3.
-I played and got 1000/1000 Achievement points on Viva Pinata.
-I look forward to the release of The Next one.
-I used to be able to name all 151 Pokemon from The Red, Blue and Yellow Games.
-I have a massive memory for events and sequences on computer games even after not playing them for at least 3 years.
-I clocked a massive amount of hours about 9 months ago playing the MMORPG "City Of Heroes" I never managed to get past level 27 for some reason. Once my first 3 Months ran out I pretty much gave up on it.
-Like the guy above me, I too hate Tim Burton.
-I have never once deliberately killed my own teammate without prior provocation, even when I'm really tempted.
-I spent 24 hours straight playing Viva Pinata (Thought I'd throw In another one about that)
-I am a massive marvel comics geek and will buy any licensed game regardless of whether or not I'm a fan of that specific superhero... I loved the Punisher on the PS2.

I Feel I've said Enough, but I know there's much much more.

I only own one FPS, which is Final Doom for the PS1.
Because of this I'm planning on never buying another FPS (Portal is an exception)
I hate the Xbox in a racist way (I will never get an Xbox just because it's an Xbox).
I got bored of Halo 2 when I first played it at my friends house.
In FFX I leveled up my characters enough so that their normal attacks do 9999 damage most of the time. (this does not include Yuna, Rikku and Lulu)

confused as fuck as to why hating on perfectly good games is popular, i mean seriously, halo might not be the best thing since sex as its advertised, but its still a solid FPS, and Counterstrike might not be realistic, but its still a good ol' time, HL2 and Portal were fun as hell, and youd have to be retardly biased to not like them. i only hate them when ppl are fanboys about them

at any rate

the only nintendo thing i own is an n64

didnt really like the xbox (not cuz i hat the halos), but becasue those were the only games that were good for it, the rest i could get for PS2 and then some.

still play James Bond: Agent under Fire

spent like a month straight playing Counter Strike Source 24/7

played worms religiously

played all the half-life games

I think the Sonic Adventure games have something that game companies should pay attention to. Namely, difficulty.

I'll look at walkthroughs when I'm trying to decide what game to buy next.

I think Portal was overrated.

My favorite game is still Final Fantasy VII (though to be fair it was before I found out the hype surrounding it).

I have 18 legitimate level 100 Pokemon, none of which are suited for competitive play. I never stopped using Charizard.

I'm beginning to hate FPS games.

I lie about my gamerscore, it's only 3100 and I'm being honest :p
Usually I say it' about four to five thousand to keep up with my friends ><

On the first resident evil, I was terrified of the cutscene showing the zombie eating Kenneth.

My favourite game when I was young was A Bug's Life for the Psone. I still play it once in a while.

I've clocked up nearly 160 hours on Oblivion with a level 35 character, I enjoy the exploring and looting of people's houses too much ^^.

I played my copy of GTAIV for about 2 weeks then lent it to someone and don't particularly want it back yet.

I'm level 109 on Runescape and fast approaching 110.
I've played the game for 4 years now.

I genuinely enjoy Pokemon Snap.

Hahahaha! That's a game I haven't heard in a while. It wasn't too bad... :p (JK)

I wasn't too crazy about it though...I like the Soul Blade/Calibur games a lot... pretty weapon fighters...ooooh.

I am gathering a group of people to combat the rampant abuse of the lenient Nexon staff against botters and the many accounts they created that just cause lag for honest players.

I really need to get a real life... he-he...
