25 years ago, an alien race known as The Nahomois crashed in the Nevada desert. The race was friendly, and collaborated with the United States Government to form the Extra Terrestrial Energy (ETE). The ETE discovered many major energy and military breakthroughs, that made the United States more powerful than ever. America became greedy though. Thy decided to not share the great knowledge, and technology they learned and discovered. They kept it to themselves, leaving the rest of the world in the dark. The United States has become the most powerful, and technologically advanced country in the world. No other country or group is near the status they are. Other countries just can't catch up with the United States' status. Knowing that no one can stop them, the United States gathered the army together, and using the T-690 Cloaking Armor, they snuck into Mexico, and invaded. Within a few weeks, they conquered Mexico, and now control it. The American army has recently regrouped in Michigan, and rumors spread that Canada is next, and that America is trying to take over the world. Only time will tell.

Secret Invasion

The race was friendly, and collaborated with the United States Government to form the Extra Terrestrial Energy (ETE). Thy decided to not share the great knowledge, and technology they learned and discovered. They kept it to themselves, leaving the rest of the world in the dark. This is a rough look at the history of this universe showing only the most important events. There are many other technological discoveries than shown.
Italicized Dates are events only the American Government know about. (Note since the Invasion of Mexico, the world is suspicious of Cloaking Armor, and knows about the Laser weaponry.)
The Bold Date; Only The UK, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Russian Governments know of this event.

February 11, 1984: A massive object is seen flying through the Nevada desert.
February 12, 1984: Locals stumble upon a crashed ship in the desert. News spreads and Reagan sends military forces to investigate. They discover that it is a small, alien spacecraft. A group of five nonhuman survivors are found in the ship. There are 7 dead bodies littered across the rest of the ship.
February 13, 1984: The government sends more troops to the area. The aliens are not hostile, and the government transports them to an undisclosed location. On the way, hostile civilians attack the caravan. The government kills 4 on this day.
February 14, 1984: People start rioting about the killings. The government sends riot control to calm the protests.
February 15, 1984: Scientists start to study the ship. Based on the analysis on its engine, weapons, and overall design, this race's technology is much more advanced than Earth's.
February 16, 1984: The government starts to question the foreign race. They discover their name. They are The Nahomois.
February 17, 1984: The government continues to question the race. The Nahomois swear they have come in peace, and would gladly help develop and improve American technology. The Americans gladly accept the help.
February 18, 1984: The American government releases details of what The Nahomois look like, in precaution of an invasion. Their skin is a light purple tone. The ones in captivity are bald, and around the mouth area are many small tentacles. It has been observed that they eat, using the tentacles. The rest of the body is human like, except for the arms. It has been noted that their arms can change shape, but normally stay in the shape of a normal human's.
February 19, 1984: The government and The Nahomois officially collaborate and start work. The agency they create becomes known as the ETE, Extra Terrestrial Energy.
March 28, 1985: ETE replicates the power source the Nahomois use on their ships, and home world. This creation eliminates the need for gasoline and oil. This power source is sold at a much cheaper price.
April 6, 1985: The UK asks America if they can purchase this technology. Their proposal is declined, and America states that they will keep the technology to themselves.
July 19, 1985: ETE has a breakthrough in military weaponry. They create the first laser rifle.
August 28, 1985: ETE now has created a laser ammunition for the laser rifles.
February 11, 1986: This date has now been turned into a national holiday, Nahomois Remembrance Day.
February 28, 1986: ETE has created a cloaking armor, The T-180. This armor can turn whoever is wearing it invisible, making war much easier.
March 22, 1986: The remaining Nahomois on the planet leave and return to their homeland. They never reveal the details on their planet.
June 27, 2007: The United States' technology vastly surpasses any other countries in the world.
January 20, 2009: Democrat representative Andrew Quincy Miller is inaugurated into office.
February 1, 2009: President Miller informs the army of the invasion of Mexico. They quickly get as much infantry as possible suited in the T-690 Cloaking Armor, and move to the Mexican border.
February 6, 2009: The army starts to secretly invade Mexico.
February 11, 2009: American forces invade Mexico City. Using the cloaking armor, they travel through Mexico undetected.
February 11, 2009: Later this day the Western Europe powers and Russia finally meet together, after months of delaying such a meeting. They decide that America must be stopped before they take over the world. The UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Russia form a subdivision of the EU, the Eurasian Global Union.
February 12, 2009: After the infantry's battle, Fighter Planes carpet bomb the city, also raining down laser fire.
February 25, 2009: American forces have conquered Mexico.
March 3, 2009: Troops return home.
March 5, 2009: Canada prepares for an invasion.
March 16, 2009: President Miller rallies the forces near the Canadian border.

The player characters will be a group of friends in college together. You will all be attending the University of Virginia. I will be allowing 6 users in (for now) and I have 5 spots reserved already. I will be allowing one other user to join. If you are interested in joining then fill out a character sheet. Whoever creates the best character sheet gets the spot. The deadline is Friday. I will pick a sheet on Saturday.
Objective
Without giving away some of the bigger plot twists, the objective is to survive. The world is crumbling down around the group. It seems America is trying to conquer the world, and Europe is planning to retaliate. Its about what you will do as the world around you turns to greed and deception. I'm not going to force you to do anything, I'm just going to show what you can do, so in theory, you could go to Canada and try and fight off them American Army.
