Everyone has their favorite type of music that people who know you associate you with. Now, they know that part of you but there are usually acts or forms of music that nobody knows you like.

For example, everyone knows I love bands like KISS, Motley Crue, Poison-basically any "glam" or hard rock act from the mid 70's to the 90's but hardly anyone knows that I also love Kenny Rogers, Hank Williams (Sr.) and classical music. As a matter of fact, the reason I thought of this my dad was looking through my mp-3 player and asked when I got into Kenny Rogers and I said, "back when I saw him on the Muppet Show back in the early 80's"

So what types of music do you secretly like but don't broadcast it to the rest of the world?

The only one that I can think of is Lady Gaga, but I don't hide it from people at all.

I'm a sucker for a good symphony.

There are also a few songs that I like by bands I don't like that I wouldn't tell anyone. Ex: "Konstantine" by Something Corporate(Which I vow to learn on piano before I die. Now I just need a piano...), and "Three Cheers for Five Years" by Mayday Parade.

I don't usually going broadcasting any of the music I listen to, just because music discussion rarely amounts to anything.

Some of the bands that are "different" from what I normally listen to are:

Veronicas, Gaga, Eminem and The Great Big Sea.

Normally I listen to Nightwish, Tarot, 3 Doors Down, Alyson Avenue, Lights and For My Pain...

I have to admit that I enjoy a little bit of Lady Gaga's music. I don't readily admit it though.

Give me Hoobastank, Sum 41, Shinedown and the likes, but I found out to be rather enjoying some George Micheal the other day?! Time to do some manly things...

Now, Caramelldansen is a pretty terrible song. It's annoying, derivative, and one dimensional.
OMFG, I actually pressed play...
It drills through your skull, and beats up your brain.

How do you sleep at night?

Same here.

Same goes for all the viking metal I listen to. I sometimes tell my friends about it, but I wouldn't go telling the pop-queens I hang out with sometimes that I listen to Finntroll and Korpiklaani. They'd think I'm even more weird.

I kinda consider Rhapsody a guilty pleasure. Even though it kinda falls into the category of music that I listen to, its not exactly something I can listen to constantly.

Not really, but on the Conservatory I do not mention that I like any music apart from classical and orchestral.

AND I CAN'T STOP LISTENING.

I wish I could, I really do. This is like a cerebral bore to the head.

By comparison, the type of music I usually listen to sounds like this.

Which makes it even odder.

Also, that move that one of them does at about 45 seconds in looks like it would break her spine.
I am so ashamed of being born in the country that spawned this evil chant.

...did you know that Japan released entire CD collections with different versions of this particular part of hell?

OT: I'm a sucker for Richard Strauss. Classical music.

As a metalhead/classic rock fan...Evanescence.
As someone who grew up in AR, I remember when they were just a bar band and would come to our city about 50 times a year-usually, they couldn't fill a bar on friday night giving out free beer-how did they get so popular?

Just quoting you to throw in a FUCK YEAH for Korpiklaani there.

I love them so much I named and designed my character in Mount and Blade Warband after the lead singer, Jonne Jarvela.

Finntroll are also good.
I had Finntroll typed there then I replaced it with Korpiklaani last second xD Other good ones are Ensiferum, Wintersun, Kalmah, Tyr, Eluveitie and the band that got me into Viking/Folk Metal in the first place, Turisas.

Sometimes....I play happy hardcore.

Yup. If you've ever heard it, you'd agree that's a great one to keep secret!
