Section 8: Prejudice vs Crysis

Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying a game for up to 15 bucks. Got my eye on either the first Crysis game (which I never tried) or the new Section 8: Prejudice. I kinda want that type of game at the moment just not sure which is the most wise choice. Any suggestions?

I had lots of fun with Crysis 1 but I am also having a lot of fun with Prejudice.. so I would say if you want a single player game with lots of mods you should buy Crysis 1 but if you want a MP game I would recommend Prejudice.

May I ask what kind of computer you got aswell? And which resolution you are playing

thanks for the reply. My computer is an Asus G53J gaming laptop so its relatively decent (I THINK its enough for Crysis, not certain tho). I usually play on 1920x1080 resol. And I think I'm leaning towards the MP just coz it looks pretty fun and the price seems reasonable.

I've heard only good things about Section 8: Prejudice, and immediately bought it. If you're more interested in the multiplayer, this would likely be better than the original Crysis. There will be more people playing it, and it'll have more online support for any issues it may have on release. You can also play 6-player co-operative, which is always fun.

thanks for the reply. My computer is an Asus G53J gaming laptop so its relatively decent (I THINK its enough for Crysis, not certain tho). I usually play on 1920x1080 resol. And I think I'm leaning towards the MP just coz it looks pretty fun and the price seems reasonable.

Hmm.. I googled your laptop and it seems maximum resolution is 1366 x 768 so am I wrong or are you using another monitor plugged into the laptop?

And you could try this site -> http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ and search for crysis, it should give you a good estimate if you can run it or not =). I found crysis 1/warheads multiplayer to be pretty meh, so I would recommend Prejudice (I've played only 6h of multi so it is possible that it will become pretty boring but so far its fun at least, and for 11,5£ it was worth it)

Thanks for the help guys, I have decided to go with Section 8 since I mostly play single player games and thought (after watching a few videos) that Section 8 looks like a good MP game so I might as well do it for a change since I don't play MP as often, and the price seems quiet good for what you get so.. oh and about my Lap top Tubez, yeh they make like three versions of the G53J (I think mine is G53Jw: its the full HD version ----> http://www.asus.com.au/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G53Jw/#specifications)I know there is another one with less resol. (1366x768) but is 3D ready I believe.
