So, what does the Escaptist think of Section 8 [http://www.joinsection8.com/region-select/].?

Personally, I think it will be pretty fun. The SP looks kind of campy, but fun-campy, not bad campy. However, the MP looks like, if it actually does what they say, it will be a blast to play. The loadout options, the burning in.....it just looks so.....fun.

don't the creators of this game trump around some catch phrase about revolutionizing something or someone... i don't remember. sounds like halo's 'combat evolved' saying... just that... a saying. probly fun but i'll wait and see some reviews.

The thing where you can choose where to spawn and you get launched from the sky is pretty cool.

That's all that really catches my eye about it, honestly.

It looks pretty "meh." I don't see enough interesting things for it to differentiate itself from the herd. Also, the name is fairly ironic. A section 8 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_8_(military)] in the military refers to when someone is discharged for being mentally unfit.

Thank God, everyone thinks this game will suck so it will probably be great and they just won't like it.

If it's as fast-paced as it says it is, and if those power-suits look as cool as they did in the previews/articles I've seen, and if the game does class-based gameplay well (ie: BF1942), then, well...

Hey, it just might be decent.

Decent enough for me to wait until it's on sale after being a flop among the market.

don't celebrate yet.
that game is more about america than space marines.
not a single american soldier dies in that trailer.
if you want space marines there is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine to look foward to.

Edit: it also has a touch of FF Spirits Within look about it.

I'm glad someone pointed that out. I was hoping to hear a good story of one, but instead get a mediocre looking game.
