This is one of the most boring games i've ever played. I do my best to make the video review entertaining, but there are limits to my magic.

What are you talking about? The bullets go exactly where you point the right stick. They could not be any more precise. The movement controls are being tightened up in a patch, but basically they are floaty because you are in SPACE. I thought having ships that took some getting used to would make things interesting, but it's not the kind of interesting you were looking for I guess.

If you don't think the weapons are powerful enough, why did you take the ship with the weaker weapons and not even try (or mention) the other ship? I didn't "rip off" any music. There is a way to upgrade your weapons during the expedition, but the message didn't appear for you because you didn't get enough minerals because you were too busy killing a harmless, and actually helpful, blue alien.

I didn't "rip off" any music. I used music, with a commercial license, that wasn't exclusive. I'm sorry you heard the music before, but this is not a crime. I don't know how you think the music world works, but I'm pretty sure $1 indie videogames aren't the lynch-pin of the industry, so I'm not putting anyone "out of work". If you know a place where I can get music exclusively licensed for commercial use for "a few dollars", please let me know. That would be awesome.

The game wasn't very communicative, that's never a good thing. The weapons take a looooooooong time to actually do anything, and drag down the pace of the gameplay. Oh, and the bullets seemed to only shoot out at either a precise angle or a straight direction, leaving a lot of space in between the angles you could shoot at. Most of my criticism for the controls revolved around the shooting, I actually didn't really mind the movement so much, but the shooting was floaty and never seemed to shoot where I wanted it to.

There is a place for games like this, but execution is everything, just look at Super Robot World, that was a great game, with limited resources (and it actually had some original music done for FREE!!!! Shocking isn't it?). And yes, using stock music doesn't make your game terribly involving. There are a few composers out there (just browse some forums or contact some graduating students) that would be glad to have a shot at applying their skills, in many instances they would work for free. Using stock music just indicates either laziness or a lack of confidence in your game. So why should we care about or play it?

This series, bad or not, has always been about recommending experiences that don't waste anyone's time, it is after all a precious commodity. I'm sorry for my honesty, but there was some promise here....it just needed some more time and care.
