Self defence from police

i'm sitting here watching these wildest police videos show and i'm wondering. If you're armed and you feel threatened by police, like they're harrassing you (lets face it police are not always model citizens), are you justified in pulling your weapon if they pull one or threaten you?

i've never heard or seen anything like this, usually the not police officer is dead and unable to speak for themselves. it's just a thought exercise.

It depends. And I can't stress that enough.

Remember in almost any given police confrontation, you only have half of the information and (depending on the call) they are probably more scared of you than you are of them. Say they get a tip on an armed hijaking with a make, model, and partial LPN that matches yours, so they stop you and exit with guns drawn. So far as you know, you were pulled over for speeding. So far as they know, you're a dangerous criminal with a .45 that you're not afraid to use (which in your case, the .45 is true).

Your scenario has to be a bit more specific before I can pass judgment, but I will say that you had best not pull a weapon on a cop unless you are prepared to kill them because they ARE prepared to kill you.

Not just that but consider that some nations do not have very caring laws or government, I.E. nations such as Cuba or perhaps Nazi Germany, in which case I personally believe one should defend themselves. This doesn't mean that one would win a fight though. I wouldn't doubt many Jews or others fought against the troops attempting to take them to concentration camps and lost, either being shot or executed after being subdued.
