I'm sure we've all had doubts and worries about our mental state during one point or other in our life. Where there is doubt, there is a reason to better understand what and why things are the way they are. This also goes for understanding our own mental health. For some time I've been struggling with various episodes of interpersonal difficulties and negative views on the world. With a level of self-awareness and some searching I became aware that I am rather Passive-Aggressive. I wasn't too aware of this term previously however after reading the description it seems to illustrate me pretty well. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_aggressive#cite_note-Wetzler3537-0)

I realize that many people will often try to self diagnose their problems as a way to explain them, sometimes accurately, but often not. Sometimes people will misunderstand or over diagnose something relating to them. The question here is what kind of (mental) problems or difficulties in life do you guys feel you have, and what do you think you can do about them?

Note: Problems constitute something that hinders you. If it doesn't, then it's not a problem.

I had depression. I'm almost certain of that. Most of the symptoms were there, and it was present for more than 6 months. Recently fixed that.

I've wondered if I have some sort of other mental disorder, but am too lazy to actually research them. Don't care much, because I'll live life the same regardless.

I have PTSD (Doctor confirmed) and Avoidant Personality Disorder (Doctor conformed).

The APD, I've learned to beat. The ptsd I've learned to live with... kind of.

I've probably got some other stuff going on. Bipolar disorder and chronic depression have been suggested. I doubt it myself, but its out there.

For a while I self-diagnosist myself with manic depression (pretty sure I don't have it), because I've been known to which between teenage-existentialism (if you know what I mean) and the complete belief that I was going to die at any moment. I haven't felt that way in awhile so I should be fine.

But if you really believe there's something off, then you really should talk to someone.
