You know when your favorite movie, book, video game, etc. never gets a sequel that you've always wanted, or the sequel it got sucked ass and so you thought of what you think would make a great sequel as well as a better one?

What are some of your ideas for sequels?

Mine is for Inception:
So it's set in the universe and uses the technology, but following a different group of criminals.

So after an inside job attempt failed, one member goes into a coma and is sent to a hospital with police guarding his room.

His friends break in, lock the doors from inside and use the "dream machine" (or whatever it's called) to go inside and get the information he had gained as the injuries the unconcious member has sustained will probably kill him. However, it turns out (meant to be a spoiler/plot twist around the beginning that's meant to complicate things and create tension) that the same member was going to die anyway from a brain tumor the doctors found upon giving him a few tests before.

The talking that the Doctor(s) and nurses do by his bedside about him going to die is heard and somewhat comprehended by the dying criminal, but only by his subconcious.

The Dying Criminal is also a big fantasy geek, and once his friends go inside, they see it's a Fantasy world with the Dying Criminal as a great Hero/Adventurer turned King. He (the Dying Criminal) has advisors that are actually representations of his psyche that either try to help him realize that all this is fake and his friends are real, or try to keep the fantasy and illusion real as they think he should die happy/live in the now.

Oh definitely Minecraft, the plot of that game sucked!

Ho ho ho that joke's never been said before.

OK I'll be serious: Uplink. I'm not really sure how to make the game better though, maybe remove that LAN interface that sometimes made inpenetrable systems on storyline missions. If it was a true sequal it would have to follow the "good" ending,

given that you literally destroy the internet in the evil ending. No, shut up, it doesn't really explain how.

Fighting back against other agents would also be quite cool instead of agencys always going to the authorities if they caught you sneaking in: you could be granted a degree of immunity after you got the first five agents who traced you down assassinated. The sixth is likely to miraculously fail to undo a deleted log and pin the blame on entirely the wrong guy.

I guess the story would have to revolve around hackers trying to break the Faith anti-virus software, maybe somebody's trying to find a way to introduce a subtle and almos undetactable error in it that would allow only them access to secure systems, other groups are trying to develop viruses that arn't detected by it, the Arunmor corporation's likely looking for inside information on these new viruses and the guys from ARC will be wanting new identities and a nice cold helping of revenge to boot. Maybe a system could be built into the game where you have different accounts in the same 'world', thus allowing you to subtly play both sides of a fight against each other. That could be fun, as long as nobody notices that they are never online at the same time...

DISASTER MOVIE 2! WE'RE SO, SO SORRY!

Seltzer And Friedberg spend two hours apologizing for making crappy movies, very quickly explaining that they only wanted to make Airplane! again. The movie itself is capped off by the people who made Airplane! explaining that it was more or less a fluke, and they make bad movies, too. Then they get out a couple of baseball bats and beat the tar out of them, because all the bad movies they made aren't as bad as just one movie they made.

But instead, we got Vampires Suck Dissapointing.

Fallout 4: London, it may not be a direct sequel but it could be that the descendants of the lone wanderer left America to find new lands and ends up in London. I swear if this happens I will sue.

Giant Squirrels, Killer Cats, Crows that have a cry worse than the Cliff Racer, and Mutant Elephants that escaped from London Zoo? Yes please! xD

OT: I'd like a sequel to Digimon World 1, a proper sequel, with new Digimon, a new Villan, and once again you have to rebuild the town (Obviously with different Mechanics and stuff to make the game feel and play differently)

Also, i know it has been done in Japan, but...CONTINUE THE G1 CARTOONS OF TRANSFORMERS! D:

Why did they stop?!?! WHY! I WANT MORE HEADMASTERS DAMNIT!

*Ahem*

Yeh sorry for that rant xD hehe

I've always hoped since the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender, that they would make a follow up which explores the world after the war. Just a small spin-off would make me happy. I know Korra is coming up, but it's set so far in the future that they can gloss over things.

Questions such as what happened to Zuko's mother? How did the three remaining nations react to the end of a century long war? Especially the Earth Kingdom. Everything outside the capital was basically abandoned to the Fire Nation. And I seriously doubt everyone would be cool with the whole attempted genocide, the camps, the relocation of people. The Earth Kingdom was left without a king unless I misunderstood the part where he basically left to see the world on his own. The Dai Li weren't exactly chased out in any scene.

I had the same problem with the end of Return of the Jedi. Great, they killed the Emperor. What about the rest of the Imperial Fleet roaming the Galaxy? Did they just all surrender? "Oh, Palpatine's dead, I guess we should stop fighting these people now."
