Seeing as how video-game characters aren't portrayed by live-action actors (not usually anyway) there's more freedom to update and change their appearance with each new installment. Sometimes these changes are subtle, a la Uncharted 3, while other times they're... not. This thread is about the latter. Which sequel makeovers do you find the most noticeable?
The first game that comes to my mind is The Witcher 2, which a friend lent to me recently. I don't remember much of my brief time with the original, save this: Geralt was not exactly what you'd call a handsome guy. Assassins of Kings prettied up the heroic mutant quite a bit, though to be fair he isn't unrecognisable by any stretch. I mostly just bring him up because it's the freshest example in my mind.
