I just hope for the sake of mankind that it comes out on PC as well as the inevitable console release (and isn't a bad port).

Psychonauts 2 would be awesome, but given the sales of the first, probably not gonna happen.

It's been said more than once in this topic, but a sequel to Chrono Trigger/Cross needs to be made.

game that needs a sequal is Freedom Fighters. Even though it has been announced as in developement we still haven't seen it. The game was awesome and the sequal could have far surpassed it now it is going to have to overhaul every aspect of the game to be great.
I think many games would simply be ruined with additional sequels. Games such as Sonic and Tomb Raider. I'm an amazing Sonic fan, but Sonic Team need to admit defeat and let Sonic rest in the halls of fame, not spin out modern, rubbish games. Tomb Raider...they've just gone dry on ideas. I mean 9 games...at least FF is epic.
If there were games that required sequels, they're the ones with loose ends or games that are sequeled for the fans, not for the money.
My preferred sequels would be:
Gears of War 3 (happening)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (was a great game, no matter how old you are)
Zelda _____ (insert title here) (this could be a Wii saviour)
