I'm here....and now I'm dead

Ray decided to stay in his basement this time, having had bad experiences with his apartment before. He held a handgun, tightly clenching the weapon. He sat back onto a spinning chair, his pistol aimed at the door. He heard a knock on the door, having been aware of what would happen if he opened it he stayed seated, watching the door as the people outside kept banging. The people just kept smacking on the door, pounding their fist's against the wood trying to get.
Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......
Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......
Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......
Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......
Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......Knock......
They just wouldn't stop, the smashed away with their hands as Ray stayed seated. His heart began to pick up pace, soon correlating with the tempo of the door. He nervously eyed the passage, the gates of hell began to open around him. The walls began to shift, rapidly and violently convulsing. They doors eyes opened, staring into Ray's very soul. The lights began to fade into blackness, shifting into deep red as they did so. Ray began to sweat, his eyes watered with tears as his fear got the best of him. For all what was happening was only in his mind, the room was exactly as he left it, no demons only the plain white basement.
"Nuke? Come out here we need to talk with you." Sky's voice could be heard from the opposite side of the door, they called him by his web name strangely.
"No! I'm not fucking open the door!" Ray shouted back, his voice filled with an insanity that only one who has seen the gates of hell could have.
"Nuke get out of there, were trying to help you!"
"Fuck you! I'm not leaving, I'm staying right here!"
"If you don't open this door right now we are breaking in and restraining you! I'm going to count to three...."
Ray pressed the gun up to his chin, his finger glided over the safety turning it off with an echoing clicking noise.
"One..."
"Screw you!"
"Two..."
"Get the hell away from me!"
Thr-" Sky's voice was cut off by the sound of the gun firing, a single bullet fired into Ray's skull. His head was nothing more then a mess of gray matter, swiveled around by the projectile. His body slumped forward just as Sky and the others managed to get in, what they saw was rather disturbing. His blood and brain fragments were covered on the wall behind him, his body lay on the cold floor, obviously lifeless.
