@Nouw: The only reason I don't enjoy MM is because there are so many incorrect people out there. I almost always give my vote to the company that deserves it, not one that I just generally like or have bias towards. Both are compared equally, in terms of their entire history, and the better team wins my vote.

That is why Nintendo should have beaten Mojang in the first round last year.

@CA: That result pissed me off more than anything else last year. They were voting based on an unfinished game, one that was basically a glorified Lego set, over 20+ years of development and technology. Plus it completely wrecked my bracket.

@Neo: Aye, mine too... Gorram blind Mojang fanboys totally destroyed mine. It did not deserve a single victory, especially not over Epic Games. That was what sealed the deal for temporarily losing my faith in humanity.

@CA: I do agree with you on that one. It simply didn't feel right that a company could defeat others like Nintendo on a game that hasn't even been properly released yet.

@March Madness Discussion: I don't even think the Mojang hate was the worst it's been. Off the top of my head, I can recall the massive uproar about Zynga getting to the Final Four the year before last.

Of course, people were complaining about Turbine's win a year before that, too. Is it just me, or does the Escapist throw a collective hissy fit about one company's run every year? (And who wants to guess the next company to have everyone up in arms?)
