For all the new people to the game out there, here's how this is gonna work:

1) Whoever guesses closest to the number I am thinking of between 1 and 200 becomes our killer. The next closest becomes the Medic, and the third closest becomes the Spy (Medic and Spy are detailed later).

2) After the killer has been picked, they PM me, the GM, their victim of choice.

3) I then pass this on to the victim, who then posts their dramatic, tragic - and possibly amusing - death.

4) Everyone PMs me their vote as to who they think is the murderer.

5) I count up the votes, and PM the unlucky nominee. They then post their death just like the victim. [sub]Preferably with a different cause of death, though. =)[/sub]

6) If the killer is elected to be executed, they are killed and we all live happily ever after. If the nominee is innocent, the killer strikes again in the same way as before.

As GM, I'm implementing two new roles to this round: The Spy and the Medic.

Spy:
The Spy may PM me to ask if another person is the killer. They get three guesses to use throughout the game. The killer cannot kill the Spy for the first three rounds.
[sub]Watch your back, sneaky-pie.[/sub]
.>

Medic:
As you might expect, the Medic has the power to save one life, preventing the killer from taking a victim's life. However, the Medic cannot stop an execution from taking place.

The Medic PMs me who they will attempt to save each round. If they pick the right person, their actions will result in the Medic's death, rather than that of the intended victim. As a result, the vote goes ahead as normal on account of the Medic's murder. Once dead, the Medic can no longer attempt to save people, obviously.

---

Once you have been killed, you are free to continue posting in this thread. Just don't say who the killer is.
Also, you can't vote from beyond the grave. That's not fair.

So, let's get started...

Small question! if the killer knows who the Spy is, won't they just kill the spy? ',:/

I think the Spy should be immune from killing for like 3 rounds xD, if the Killer knows anyway.

I'm in.
But, if the Killer knows who the Spy is, wouldn't that completely negate any positives?

In the other versions of this game I've played, the "Spy" role was different. The Spy would PM the GM with someone's name, and the GM would tell the Spy if that player was the killer or not.

I'm not too sure about Medic either.

Hmmm... that works, but the Spy should only get three guesses.

I had these ideas in my head for a while, but I couldn't get them working properly. I'll edit them as necessary.

Hm... I am a little unclear on how it works, I will re-read the OP.

But I am in, maybe I will read the last one to clear things up.

Also, another idea. When we play this in school occasionally we have the Detective. The Detective gets to ask the GM if one person is the Killer every round. Nobody knows who the Detective is but the Detective can announce himself. Of course, somebody like the Killer could always lie and say they are the Detective to get someone else executed. Pretty much how Berethond described the Spy.

I'll be in again. I've been busy lately because of homework, but I've got it under control now.

Sounds like a good idea, can't wait to see how it plays out.

I'm in this round. And wasn't I supposed to be the GM because I was the killer?

Nawww, I'm kidding. I was gonna get someone else to be the GM anyways, cause I'm not on regularly enough (because of school) to keep it flowing smoothly.

Also, nice ideas Counter. They should keep the round interesting, and with the slate wiped clean, the round should go faster. How many people are you gonna let in?

I dunno, 19 was OK last time, so I'm thinking around 15 to 20 people.

Also, you can start PMing me your guesses.

I've changed the Spy's ability to Berethond's guess system.
Wait, so when it says 3 guesses per round, does that mean 3 guesses the whole game, or 3 guesses every time someone is killed?
