It was a cold and stormy Thursday night, and like always, Sunset_Savage was scrutinizing several building and landscaping plots for his Architecture Designing major. He picked up his pencil to write himself a few notes about how the different plots could be combined with each other. As the lead touched one of his paperwork, Sunset_Savage heard a noise similar to someone sneezing. As long as he could remember, he was the only one in the college's library.
"Who is there?" He shouted, while nervously dropping his writing utensil. "I need more sleep" Sunset_Savage murmured to himself, still checking if someone else was in the building. He reached down to grab his pencil, when a beam of red light flashed past his eyes. Out of fear, Sunset_Savage crouched down to the ground. A large BANG echoed throughout the campus as a bullet whistled past his head.
Sunset_Savage looked up at the top balcony to see his shooter reloading his sniper. Sunset_Savage began to run toward the library entrance door, while another bullet bounced off the floor behind him. The wet ground caused by the heavy downpour caused our victim to slip and land face-first in a thick puddle of mud. Sunset_Savage quickly got back to his feet, only to feel a sharp pain in his lower back.
All of a sudden, Sunset_Savage's whole life flashed before him. His first breath, his first step, his first friend, the divorce of his parents, the images of foster care, all the places he has visited, his eighth and high school graduations, his acceptance letter, and everything else up to this very moment. Then reality came back to him. He opened his eyes to see his fate staring down back at him.
"Why? Why are you doing this to me? TO MEE!?!" screamed Sunset_Savage through his tears and the sound of his heavy heartbeat. The killer bent over and whispered in his ear, "Because you played the game." And with that, the killer slammed his foot through the skull of Sunset_Savage, leaving him in a puddle of mud and blood.
