I don't know, I really enjoyed Alan Wake, even the combat. I didn't even notice how repetitive it was until I heard everyone complain about it, but I still had fun. I played through the entire game four times and bought both DLCs, so that must say something.

I don't mind if someone doesn't like the game itself, but the soundtrack, now that's another thing. And that concert scene, damn that was badass.
