That video is everything thats wrong with the Republican Party in America right now. It's also why people like Glen Beck, O Rielly, and Hannity should be force fed Clorox but meh...

As per the actual topic, yes these people are a minority. They're an extremely vocal minority however.

So when the liberals protest the war in Iraq, it's ok, but when conservatives protest the healthcare plan, they are idiots. Seriously... Whether you agree with them or not, they are excercising their rights as Americans to protest something they disagree with. There is nothing wrong with that, and I'm sure they too think people who disagree with them are, "Idiots," as well.

Seriously... Grow up.

And they are hardly a minority... There are a LOT of Americans who are opposed to Obama's plans for a variety of reasons. Maybe people like them are a minority on these forums but there is hardly any proof that they are a minority within the U.S. If that was the case, then Obama's reforms would have been passed before the August recess, and there would be far less debate.
Disagreeing with the healthcare bill and Democratic adminstration is fine I don't agree with everythings Dems are doing, but I sure as hell don't put myself in the same group as the retards in this video and the type of people who suscribe to republican pundits like Glen Beck. Even within the Republican party these people are the minority it's just that they have control over the parties leadership at the moment. That and they are so vocal they make it seem like the entire Republican party is behind them when they aren't.

I would say the exact same thing about the extreme leftists during the Bush administration. That in itself describes what these people are, extremists.

In short yes there are a lot of people who disagree with democrats. These people however are indeed idiots (I really don't see how you can think these people are in any way not blubbering idiots) and a minority even when talking about people against the Obama administration. And hell i for one would be ashamed to even belong to the same political party as these people.
Seeing as how I did not watch the whole video before, I may have missed the parts where supreme idiocy was demonstrated before my first post. I just thought it was another, "Everyone who disagrees with healthcare reform is an idiot," video that seem to be popping up more and more now.

Thes people do NOT represent the entire Republican party, and yes, they are extremeists. I don't fall into the same group either, and I disagree with most of Obama's reforms - mainly for philosophical and financial reasons. However, they are demonstrating based on their personal views. Some may see them as ignorant and wrong, but it is their right to be so. That was the only point I was going for. :)

Rest assured, OP, that these people are the minority. I heartily disagree with everyone on that video, and i am certainly from america. I don't really like it here to be honest, free healthcare and all that stuff most of the other world gets is too sweet, i want to get out of here, for my children. I don't mind paying high taxes if it means i get to live like you guys.

I love it when everyone has problem with change a make a big deal about it despite the fact that the country has already been turned upside down in the past 8 years and since a man is doing what he feels is right for the country is basically protested against by nutballs who feel they know more than he does.

One woman on that vid said DC stands for District of Corruption. Yeah that's not full on news if you have paid attention to the political pieces in the past presidencies. I'm just surprised that Obama is still kicking and has not been shot by these funzos. Unlike them Im open to what he does especially if it helps in the long-term.

i say we cut our defense budget and just let other country's build bases and defend our land for us. then we have have their kids come over and back pack threw the cities.

if we cut all aid and humanitarian work to other country's we would have more then a enough to cover health care in this country. But all the free shit and money that goes to the world will never make the news sadly , people just dont know

Oh so, the "israelites" aren't jewish? Well america as smart people know has very successful jewish businesses, most of which international businesses went on in the twin towers, which was the target to hit the economy of the JEWS with their genocidal push into Palestine.

You can't separate the JEWS in israel from the jews in america simply because the jews in america are funding the slaughter of the Palestinians by sending the money to the JEWS in Palestine.
You damn well can separate them. I'm an american jew, and i've never sent israel a dime. but let's play your game. How many business owners were both directly affected by 9/11 AND actively supporting Israel financially?

Also the american minority exists to the Palestinians because the americans are invading, whereas the americans are making the Palestinians out to be the enemy gain support from the public, without showing what is actually going on in Palestine to keep the support.
i'd love to respond but this isn't even a coherent sentence. i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you haven't thought this through clearly, rather than just call you an anti-Semite and be done with it.

I'm curious as to where these people were when we spent billions of dollars blowing up Iraq (again) and Afghanistan (also again).

The more intelligent Republican voter knows this, that's why they voted Democrat in 2008, and will hopefully continue to vote Democrat until they successfully root the corruption out of their own party.
The more intelligent voters voted for Ron Paul.

"So when the liberals protest the war in Iraq, it's ok, but when conservatives protest the healthcare plan, they are idiots...And they are hardly a minority..."

Well its really not liberals or conservatives its just "we the poeple". BUT To answer your first question, yes. When people march to stop a war that was based on a lie and outright made up bullshit then yes, it is ok. But when people march because of their own lies and outright made up bullshit against health reform when they CLEARLY have no idea what they are talking about, then yes they are idiots.

And yes, they are a minority. Thats WHY they have to rely on lies and outright made up bullshit. Otherwise no body would give a shit about what they have to say. In fact the more outlandish their claims and actions are the more likely they are to get on tv.

As far as other posters who have said "we didn't vote for this, this isn't what we wanted". Actually it is. He is doing or trying to do just about everything that he said he would on the campaign. And we voted him in. In fact there is a LARGE chunk of the population who want him to do MORE of what he said on the campaign and they want it sooner.

The problem is the people on the losing side of this election are a bunch of whining cry babies that are willing to resort to ANYthing to stop any type of progress of any kind what so ever.

There are a lot of idiots in the US. There are a lot of idiots elsewhere as well they just aren't as loud. Americans like there protests and they like to abuse there freedom of speech. It's there right to do so, and It's my right to tell them that they're all nitwits and then do something else. Loud minorities make democracy work, but they can be annoying.

why did everyone complain about the war any way, its not like any of them had to put any effort into it, ration any thing off , have there taxes raised or be drafted.

and what happen to all these protest when bush left office? obama said he was pulling the troops out yet more and more go over?

mostly all people who walked down the street banging drums calling a president a nazi are morons, protesting in general is kinda dumb , keeping free trade is where the peace is.

I don't get what's so wrong about this, they're just expressing their rights. I guess now that there are so many liberals these days, Republicans are pretty easy to pick on. And no I'm not saying I support what's in the video, I just think there's nothing wrong with it.

I just thought I should bring this to your attention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUPMjC9mq5Y

I would really like to be reassured that these sorts of people are a minority.

But anyway, for discussion, is America as misinformed as commonly depicted?
what you are missing is that among the more vocal retards shown on camera are thousands of people there to protest taxes and other things they don't believe in. This is a fundamental right of our country and whether I agree with them or not, I support their right to protest. the more vocal minority represented, well frankly I have found there are retarded ass people in every culture so I do not like being stereotyped or lumped in with these people. You people from other countries do not like being stereotyped ((ie French sissies, obnoxious Canadians, etc, etc, ad infinitum)) So why would you assume that I do?

fortunately these people are in the minority. unfortunately they like to travel, and so that stereotype spreads. If they made it legal for these people to be killed, I would buy hunting tags for them every year and display skulls proudly on my front lawn as a warning to others.

I cannot tell you how many times I must hang my head and reluctantly admit that I too am an American. I am not ashamed of being American, but I am deeply ashamed to be in the same class as these idiots. It is perfectly fine for people to have differing values and belief systems, but when the espouse such erroneous propaganda and truly have no idea what is really in the health care bill they are protesting. America is full of anti-intellectual morons who vote against the very policies that could save their lives.

Damn, I wish I went there holding a bunch of signs and a sandwich board:

"I'm not American!"

"The healtchare system is a good idea, go home!"

"Why do you thrive on being miserable?"

Also, the Bible-bumping asshat at the beginning declaring 9/11 was God's warning, said that abortion was worse than the holocaust. He should die in a fire.

I think I spoke of the "Americans being the Bane of humanity"-thread. The U.S government doing indiscriminate carpet bombings in other countries where thousands of civilians die because of it, you don't hear as much as a squeak from the american people.

But raise taxes, FOR ANY REASON AT ALL, and boy the streets of Washington suffers a bad case of over-crowding with disgruntled citizens.

-"Oh sure, go ahead mr President! Get our military to act like nazis in other countries, we don't mind. I mean it's just a bunch of 'brown people' of 'terrorist descent' dying anyway. But if you raise the fucking taxes then im going to rip you a new one, got it!?"

The policies that would control our lives. If we had much in the way of lives left after our government collapses our economy by printing trillions of dollars in fake money...
