I got Deus Ex and Invisible war on Steams midweek madness last week. My problem is that it apparently doesnt run on multi cores. Deus Ex wasnt a problem I was able to ctrl alt delete out and change the affinity plus there was a nice patch that worked perfectly.
Invisible war is where the problem is because my computer completely freezes at the main menu for the game so I cant set the affinity. I looked up some programs to set the affinity before the program started however all of them are for a dual core.
Bottomline: Does anyone know a program that will set the affinity for a quad core before the program starts?
