Not to be one to beat the dead horse because I firmly believe that this topic should be dead, in the ground and six feet under, wrapped in chains to ensure it doesn't get out but this is pretty sexist:

I get that they're doing it for story reasons and it is not as if I watch this god awful show since I gave it four episodes and I wanted to set my eyes on fire, but I saw the link somewhere else and thought: "Wow. If this were Spider-Man saying that to her, there would be people out for blood. Regardless of if it were a plot point or not." Not to mention the action of gender bending a character is just plain lazy.

Well who put a gun to your head and told you to do exactly the opposite of everything you just said should happen? The horse is still dead and you're still beating it mate, pointing it out doesn't make it otherwise.

Mainly because it's a case where it's the opposite of what everyone else is losing their collective minds over? That it's worth talking about since Marvel is supposedly making leaps and bonds towards shaming this when it happens to women but they're fine with it happening to a guy? Or maybe because it's so irregular and strange that it's worth noting despite it being a horrible show.

Isnt that kinda the entire point of alternate universes really? That they're bizarre and stuff happens that wouldn't at all be okay in ours or some variation thereof?

Complaining about it seems kinda like a twin launching a campaign against evil identical twins in media.

Who cares, I am a man, and I find this amusing. You know, because I have a clear view of my self worth that is not defined by media or what others do or say..... ahem.

The funny thing is that I think they did this genderflip on purpose, to offend men. So that they can see "see that is how it is as a woman being told you are weak."

Obviously it completely fails, because if we revert/genderflip it back every male would rightfully be called a shithead.
The writers don't seem to go out that much. Or they somehow timewarped from the 50s to now.

I remember when I saw this episode on TV... Basically, current-season Spider-Man meets alternate universe Spider-Girl from Season 1 of Ultimate Spider-Girl, which leads to how it seems like Spider-Girl shouldn't be "acting" that way in front of her alternate universe self in the first place... Now granted, they could have done the whole "Mayday" Spider-Girl thing, but given how we, the viewer, are suppose to be seeing these universes that are, concept-wise, weirdly different that the universe the main show takes place it, what's weirder that going into a gender-bent universe that's still on "Season 1" basically?

Regardless, in this Spider-Girl universe, the only characters I really liked were J. Joanna and Norma Osborn on just the voice-casting alone...

I just saw the video [well, the first part anyway].
Apparently Peter Parker is just a nerd, he thought her boobs at first was big man-boobs.
Also her very obvious female body doesn't click the brain of Peter also....
Is this Cartoon like this all the time? Unfunny and stupid?
I hope not.

I remember liking the other dimentions storyline from the 90s cartoon, each spiderman was unique and interesting.

Gender swaping is so boring.

The point is to show how ridiculous sexism is, Society tells girls everyday they can't be anything unless a man approves of it, 'less they get hurt, or rejected.
