Sexting question

My friend, guys and girls, and I were talking earlier about sexting, where girls send nude pictures to guys over text, blah you all know.
We were talking about someone we knew who had done it and it jsut went from there.

We came to the question that:
Lets say the two are like best friends for years, and decide to spice it up a bit
could you be caught if a girl sends you a picture, and she deletes it, and after you get it, you delete it. It doesn't get spread around. Its a secret.

Could anyone find out? and would you get in trouble?

I guess you could get away with it if you both deleted it at as soon as it is sent and as soon it is recieved and it wasn't sent to anybody else.

Its very doubtful, unless your parents suspect that you are doing something you shouldnt be and want to know whats going on on there phone plan. Although i dont think they can actually see the pics you sent, just record that you sent some. Phones no longer have to use the web-storing systems they once did for sending MMS messages.

Its just a matter of if the parents see them

I guess no you dont have to send one back...I have way too many questions for you, if this is all from a girl you fancy just arrange something in private between you and her. If you are getting these pics from friends thats a bit dodgy and i would advise against participating.

There's a bitchin' case going on in New Jersey at the moment: the District Attorney is prosecuting a 15 year old girl for manufacturing and distributing child porn because she sent a pic of herself to her bf. I thought that was an inspired legislative act, totally over the top though!

Well they don't specifically look for pictures like that, but they can see what you've been sending. But don't worry, the cable know all about the porn you download and they haven't said anything, so you should be in the clear ;p

I've never found myself to attracted to the idea of sending nude pics of myself to anybody...I don't even send any to my boyfriend (though I know he wishes I did sometimes.) I honestly don't know what drives SOME teenage girls to do it...especially if they have never met the person. It wasn't exactly a big thing when I was at school, the most popular phone back then was the NOKIA 3310/3315.
