Does a 1 night stand count as a sexual partner? Or do you mean proper sexual partners?

If you start including all the one night stands of a persons life I don't see how you could remember the exact amount.

Here's another question here: What constitutes a high number? Is 10 high? 5? 30?
Good question.
My girlfriend has only ever slept with me, And I've slept with 5 people including her.
I'd hardly say that's a high number, but perception is perception.

Yay! Not that it's for a lack of trying. I can't say I have strong opinions regarding either sluts or prudes. However many people they stuck it in/stuck inside them is their business.
Me too, yet another 0. And I try too, although I'm just 16. All of my girl friends (friends that happen to be girls, that is) "like the idea of us being just friends" better... And, yeah, if it's someone I don't plan on having any sort of intimacy with, I don't care. But as far as the intimate ones, I don't have any experience, so I really wouldn't know...

I've had no sexual partners. You might almost say I'm saving myself at the moment until I find the right one for me. Not that I'll try to...you know...with that person as soon as I meet them. If they want to, I'll do it, but not until then.

I think a high number isn't a good thing. But if that's just the mates you've had, that makes it a bit more okay. If it's the number of people you've slept with just to sleep with them, then...yeah. Not good. I don't really know what I'd consider a high number.
My 10-12 in a year and 4 months is pretty high, and in retrospect I regret the one nighters that got me there. Without them I'd be at 3... I hate really bad break ups

Uh, somewhere between 30 and 35.

I was a huge slut before I met my lady.

Add to that the fact that I was usually in long term relationships so most of those happened in the space of 2-3 years.

7. I've had way more relationships, but not all of them get serious enough for that.

For me, I don't really even want to hear how many people the person has been with. As long as they were safe about it, weren't an actual slut about it, and get tested regularly, I'm fine with them.

0.

Spent the first 22 years of my life not really caring about sex or relationships.

In hindsight? Not a good thing, for various reasons.

None, but I'm 18, so that's not too bad. I've had the opportunity twice, the first time I was just too afraid to move forward and the second one I was afraid she'd cut my throat after. Fun times...

And at 28, 10 isn't that high a number, I don't think. 30, definitely, but not 10. Not low, but not high.

So far I've only slept with one person, my girlfriend Rachel, and I wouldn't have any regrets if it stayed that way ^_^.

I'm not saying my number, and in fact I'm not even sure what it is because I don't know where the "sexual partner" line is drawn. Sometimes that line can get pretty hazy.

Someone's experience level doesn't factor at all into my decision about whether I'd want to be with a person. I don't think it really changes the quality of things either, unless you're dealing with a complete novice, because let's face it no-one is good at anything the first few times. That's okay though because novices can be trained...

I turn 19 soon, so it's not like I'm the 40 year old virgin, yet. But then again every woman alive is smart not to sleep with me. I'm not in any way good looking; quite hairy(everywhere), overweight, nothing special in waist down area (but then again they can't know that since I don't take off my pants in front of them), face isn't appealing to look at, I'm not that interesting to talk to, Horrible at jokes. So yeah, I kind of suck.

5 clinical relationships, only 1 of them was penis-in-vagina. Though I may regret some of my oral encounters, I don't think I'll ever feel even remotely bad in my choice of sex partners. I'm not particularly inclined to increase my number now, but me and my boyfriend have a pretty open sex life, and that could involve picking up a temp here or there.

Depends on how many a person has!

As for me, my "magic number" is 4. I don't think that's so bad for someone who's been sexually active for 6 years. (Although I've been with my current partner for 4 years now.)

I've had one. Lost it at 19 (2 or so months ago infact) And I'm still sexing that person as well.

I couldn't tell you how many partners he's been with, but it's definitely more than me.

0 Times, haven't been on a date in 19 months..arrgggghhhh

Numbers isn't an issue, two sexual partner in a year is not a high number but adds up to twenty in a decade.
20 partners by 26 (UK age of consent 16) would be a perfectly reasonable number if not actually quite low.

It wouldn't put me off dating a girl when even a low number like 3-4 partners is still far more than I am getting.

Sexual partners, two. Fooling around kissing, handiwork etc., three.

I'm a bit pissed off actually, because I was in the 'saving myself for that someone special' camp, met a girl I really liked, we were going out a few months before we had sex and it was great for a while, I loved her to bits, but then I started to see the person underneath and didn't like what I saw, so that plan didn't exactly go to, well, plan...

I've had a couple of one night stands with an older woman since (I'm 22, she's 29) because it sounded fun, but no-one in the last few months.

To anyone holding out and saving yourself for that special someone, I don't mean to be a pessimist or shatter anyone's dreams, but it rarely works out that way, so don't pass up an opportunity if you really want to do it with someone you fancy. I guess I'm only saying that because my particular dream was shattered, but meh, take from that what you will.

2 for me. If you include people I've fooled around with, it'll be at 2 Full on Partners, 3 only fooling around.
