1.1) Would you share your bed with a person of the same sex?
I wold have no problem with it, so yes.
hyperhammy said:
1.2) If no, what bothers you about it?
No need to answer this one for me.
hyperhammy said:
2) Can you openly talk about sex or sexuality?
Yeah, though I respect it if some people feel uncomortable talking about it.

3) How do you act aroundd up-tight people?
I either ignore them or try to make them understand. Failing the latter, I do the former or just don't bring it up.

1: I'd have a problem sharing my bed with pretty much everybody. I want to sleep comfortably
I was assuming it was a decent sized bed. I'd have trouble sharing a smaller bed with someone. Well, specifically, I'd have trouble falling asleep. I certainly wouldn't have trouble sharing it though.
TS said the beds were barely big enough for 1 person. I'd say "dibs" as fast as I could and take the bed :)
Falling out in mid-sleep sucks.

If the bed was big enough I wouldn't mind
Then I guess it would just depend on who the other person was and how necessary sleep was. Also, it would definitely help if the bed was up against a wall.

1)I've done it before a couple of times, either after a concert when there's a lack of beds, or at a house party and there's a lack of beds. The only thing that bothers me would be the lack of space, because all beds are for tiny people.

2) Yes, I can talk pretty damn openly about sex, but to my friends, or anonymously online (like here) Though as long as I'm not going into any details, I'd talk about sex with anyone.

3) Depends on how so. If they don't like talking about sex, I'm hardly going to force the issue. If they're judgemental about promiscuity or the like, then I'll probably try and debate with them.

1. I'd make sure I couldn't do anything with the situation, because I'd be annoyed if I had to share a bed and then found out that there was one, say, of those fold-up beds in the cupboard I could have used. If not then, yeah, I guess so.

2. -

3. I feel if someone asked me, I would be okay with discussing it. But, generally, my friends and I don't talk about that. We don't even swear, 'cus our conversations are usually a bit too cerebral (or goofy/childish) to swear without making it sound like we're swearing because we're 'grown-ups'.

4. Depends how stuck-up. If you're talking "so stuck up they're repulsed by the very notion that someone, somehwere at some point in history MIGHT have POSSIBLY THOUGHT about having sex" then I'd leave, because I'd have accidently walked into a Presbyterian church. ZING

1.1) I have actually shared a bed with both the same an opposite sex at the same time. We didnt have sex though I would not have minded much because I am a perv and bi-sexually oriented ;P
Unsolicited sex is not cool no matter what plumbing the other person has so it barely seems necessary to add that.

1.2) moot

2) no problem at all (a sentiment possibly not shared by the people within earshot of me)

3) unashamed and perplexed as to why THEY are "that way"

1.1) No. Just...no.
1.2) Besides me being straight and most of my male friends being gay? It's just...not right. I can barely sleep by myself without a distraction like that.
3) I don't talk too openly about sex (outside of this forum, where the anonymity of the Internet makes an excellent filter for my twisted mind). I tend to scare people when I do.
4) Did someone say "uptight"?

I would not share my bed with anyone, unless it was very necessary, because in my experience people I am sleeping in the same room with always make a degree of noise that wakes me up. I can only sleep well when there is little or no sound.

I talk about 2.) rarely and I generally avoid stuck-up people.

I have absolutely no personal bubble. I don't care who's in my bed, I'm gonna fucking sleep in it.

1: Yes, I don't care if its another dude in the bed.

2: -

3: Yeah, I have no problem talking about anything to anyone.

4: If they're not cool with something, I drop it. Its their choice. Who am I to try to change their mind?

1) I haven't really had to yet, I don't really think I would have a problem, but they might since I roll around a lot. :3
2) Yep.
3) I generally don't talk to them... But if I do, I'll just avoid it so as to avoid conflict.

1: Yeah, I don't really mind, long as he keeps all his clothes on.
2: Nothing here, you know?
3: And how.
4: I don't really know many of those folks...

1. Sure, I'm cool with it, except I'm still going to wear my clothes.
2) I was raised in a cave for 3 years of my life. I kinda missed those family life classes.
3) I don't really have a problem with anyone unless they intend to get in the way of my goals.

1.) I'm gay so duh, but yea. I've even shared beds with other gay men and not had sex with them. True story. I'm a light sleeper though, don't particularly like sharing a bed.
2.) More or less. I usually choose not to, though.
3.) I have plenty of other interests, so it doesn't have to be a big deal.

1) Would you share your bed with a person of the same sex?

Hell yeah! But I'd share a bed with the opposite sex too, doesn't really bother me.

2) Can you openly talk about sex or sexuality?

Yep, I probably talk about it a little too much sometimes. My boundaries shift all over the place depending on my mood.

3) How do you act around up-tight people?

I can't stand them at all. I stopped talking to one of my friends because it bugged me so much about how uptight he is. It just constantly struck me that he was worried about everything making him look "gay", which just made me feel uncomfortable.

1.1) Yes and have done on several occasions
1.2) -
2) Yeah to friends, not parents or generally older people.
3) 'Well fuck you *****' (applies to man or woman, I call everyone a ***** equally)

1) I've slept in the same bed as friends before, it's never bothered me. Sometimes funny things happen. Like, I stayed at my friend's house the other day, slept in his bed, and in the morning I could feel him prodding my feet with his, so we poked fun at each other for a while.

2) N/A

3) Can't say I've had sex, but I talk openly about things. The only reason I tend not to right now is because teenagers are ridiculously untrustworthy and in my school everyone is in on everyone elses business.

4) I don't know many uptight people, fortunately.

1.1) Sure... have done so a few times. (Sharing a guest bed for example)
1.2) It's is a bit uncomfartable.. but hell, why not?
2) Well...i COULD... but i don't do so. I am more of an old-school gentleman. Just shut up and enjoy.
3) People think i am an uptight person. (I nearly never swear or curse in public and never resort to crude talk or boasting - ESPECIALLY not sexual). But i certainly can and WILL if it has its place. Saying fucking DICKCOCKSHIT all the time diminishes the meaning. And talking about fucking some "chick" tarnishes the name of that particulary lady. Yeah, i said lady.

I also wouldn't like it if the women talk about ME in some crude manner.

1.1) Not much of a problem, I've done it a few times. Sharing a bed had historically been perfectly normal for a long, long time, at least until the 1920s.
1.2) I guess I would refuse if the other person was gay and either openly making advances or being drunk/in any state where they could be unpredictable. I'd happily sleep on the floor in such a situation, let them have the bed.
2) If the other person wants to, why not? Although I never talk about what goes on between my GF and me, that would be unfair towards her.
3) Meh, they're like anyone else. If they don't explicitly give me a reason to change how I act, why should I?

That commment made me think of a bunch of questions I would like to ask the Escapist:
1) It wouldn't be ideal, but that's not on grounds of gender. I like to have the bed to myself, or share with the person I'm involved with.
2) n/a
2) Sure, as long as it's tasteful. Very few people can pull of that Sarah Silverman trick of saying the dirtiest things in a butter-wouldn't-melt voice.
3) Ignore 'em, like I do most people.
