Psychological warfare is well known throughout the world history of warfare. Many tribes dressed as animals and beasts to frighten and intimidate their enemies. Many dressed as birds and beasts for battle to scare the enemy, although many now would not think this to be practical battle gear, it proved effective for making opponents fear and flee instead of fight.
