So there I was in the retailer's, my new copy of SH:H in my hands. As a long-time SH fan, I was optimistic; surely this would be a return to form after SH4 and Origins. I wasn't disappointed.
I freakin' love it so far.
I play no favorites between my consoles; my house has a Wii, 360, and PS3 all cheerily sharing space. I went with the PS3 edition of the game. Now, the SH:H game features thick fogs that reduce draw distance to a very limited field and a grainy filter that obscures fine detail. Furthermore, the physics engine would be unsophisticated for the late 90s. There's no stunning new technology being showcased. However, despite this, my PS3 is suffering from very pronounced frame rate drops. What is the experiences of the forum? Are escapists having the same problem? Does it extend to the 360 edition?
