So I played Shadow Warrior 2 for 3 hours.
So much fun!!!
It is like the first game, but because it is random regenerated, sometimes the whole battlefield become a beautiful Chaos of slaughter with a lot of toys to play!!!
Like, you start fighting a Mini Boss in a giant area with his minions, but while you are fighting freely, you trigger Snake-Men and Hammer-Heads all around you and they start making the whole thing more AWESOME!!! You start shooting like a maniac with the Fire-base Shotgun, then you pull-out the awesome hightech double swords and start sending laser shashes across the field killing the remaining assh*les, then you turn around using the spin attack killing some random clawlers which they decided to appear as well. Then you continue shooting the Boss and the with the help of well-placed barrels/husks of pain to cause even more damage, at last see the motherf*cker fall down like a little b*tch!!!
I also like the fact that right now at least the sword isn't anymore an OP weapon. You must indeed use nearly all the available arsenal you have to defeat some really naughty enemies types you visit.
Right now the only complain I have is the Abilities Loots you get. Very good to update your weapons and even sometimes with each update the weapon you use change its visual appearance, but it is very time consuming and I ignore the most of them. I only check if they are the blue or golden loot to use. The silver ones are meh.
Btw, I get the RazorBlade and I REALLY want to like it, but it is very ssslllooooowwwww.....
Is there a trick I can make it more deadly and faster?
Anyway, Awesome game!!! 9/10 for now.

Further into the story you'll be able to combine 3 abilities into a more powerful one. But you'll need cold hard cash too so try not to spend much at Larry's or Hideo's.SweetShark said:

I am not saying the new Doom is bad, the opppsite. It is very awesome. However the 2016 Doom fight the enemies inside Arenas whichnyou must kill ro continue. Shadow Warrior 2 is the opposite. You can fight whatever you feel like it because there are no boundaries to keep you for running around freely. However as I said even if you want to run away from an enemy, some other will pop up to add another hazardous element you must take care.
Oh you can go ahead and sell silver loot. It's a nice way to make some extra cash. Focus on combining blue and gold loot into more powerful items.SweetShark said:

lo wang is pretty funny and badass. (however he potray much better in SW 2013)

not even a Rival of Doom.. I prefer shadow warrior 2013. its one step forward, two step backward. shadow warrior 2013 was great game apart from terrible boss fights and shadow realm levels.

I remember a time when you were hyping this shit up like crazy. I find it kinda fun to see it didn't live up to expectations. This is what happens when people hype things up way too much and it doesn't quite reach the hype levels we set up. Such is life of a gamer though. It's always better to see a game turn out better than expectations, though that doesn't always happen. As for the game itself... It looks alright?B-Cell said:

Being a primarily shotgun oriented guy reminds me a lot of playing Vanguard in Mass Effect 3.
The gameplay is fast. So freakin' fast I love it. I've invested a lot of points in movement speed, auto reload when you don't have your empty weapon equipped and ammo capacity. I also have that chi-blast power maxed out. So basically I'm just running around, dashing, jumping and basically flying around the map and shooting at giant monsters and creating big ass explosions everywhere without stopping. It's A LOT of fun. Wide and open level design in this game is tailored for fast movement and jumping around. It's also quite a vertical game as well. You can jump from rooftop to rooftop with ease, and so can your enemies. This is how freedom of movement should look like in an arcady shooter.
The game is like a weird mix of first Shadow Warrior, Borderlands and Blood Dragon. And that's a GOOD THING.
Only certain aspects of the levels are randomly generated and that mostly applies to the sidequest areas, not the main story areas. As for the loot mechanics, it really isn't as exorbitant or complicated as something like diablo or borderlands. I'd recommend it whole heartedly, and it's only 40 smackers.Jandau said:

The loot system and RPG mechanics are also just there for you to create your own playstyle with and not something like an end goal where you start off weak and have to grind gear and levels to actually amount to something, instead you already start as a badass, monster killing ninja and just go from there.
Its still the same Shadow Warrior 2013, its literally just bigger, stupider and better. Except the story, the story is really awful this time but that's not what you'll be playing it for.
