Really enjoyed it, the combat options are interesting the AI system that assesses if you're a threat or not is awesome, seems we're going to be able to talk through most of the game.

Although it makes perfect sense for the setting to have mercenaries with you I'm wondering if you won't form a party. It evokes the original tabletop more than I would have thought.

Can't wait for this game. It looks incredible so far and I'm really pleased with how the turn based combat looks, the graphics, and I love how you can talk your way past guards and such. The roleplaying aspects of this game look like they could be really deep.

In terms of the party, it appears they are going for more the "single avatar" aspect and not the "team" aspect. This is good and bad. Like you said, it fits with the setting that the lead character would hire other Shadowrunners to assist him/her. On the flip side, not having a true party-based system like Baldur's Gate or Dragon Age means that we'll miss out on roleplaying between our various party members.

Looks... alright.
Hopefully combat is a lot more challenging than this seems and also more satisfying. Seems kind of bleh so far.

Still, it's nice to see these sorts of games making a comeback recently. Should be fun for at least a little bit.

Looks fun, but a little bare bones still. The movement point system in particular looks incredibly streamlined. For example, it's not clear how far you can run on one movement point.

It's a demo. I'm sure all the characters they were using were amped up to crazy levels and/or immortal so they could show off all the skills. Wouldn't be a very good demo if you died, and then had to start over cause you hadn't been able to show the crowd the last room :)

Looks pretty cool. Wish they'd stuck a tad closer to the rules, but I'm cool with this. (or maybe they are? I only played 4e.) Especially excited about that editor, hope that's easy to use.

It looks awesome. And the preorder prices are reasonable. The combat looks a bit like XCom.

The game looks absolutely amazing. It's odd; I tend not to really like turn based combat, but with that XCOM/Fallout action point system, it really seems to work. There's real tactics involved that actually justifies the use of turn based combat, instead of the typical "hit X to attack" nonsense which has little to no actual strategy involved.

Shadowrun Returns, Project Destiny, Wasteland 2, Torment. This is turning my nolstalgia into overdrive and I might have a meltdown.

With that said, the next two years (in case all these come out in that time), will be a fantastic year for RPG's.

Thank you Kickstarter!

I was impressed. I started the video, clicked full-screen, and then before I knew it 20 minutes of my life had gone by. I'm looking forward to the second half of the year when a bunch of these early Kickstarter games get released.

This I like. I played the original ages ago, though I could never remember what it was called (it was in my mind to post it to that forgotten games thread here, though I was a bit scared everybody would laugh because it's so obvious). I'm not making this up, that street they're walking down is taken straight from the original, isn't it? Been a while since I played it.

Anyway, combat looks cool. I like that thing where entering a room without your weapons drawn lets you sneak up on people; that's a nice way to add combat roles to things traditionally non-combat orientated (e.g. Charisma). I find a lot of these sorts of games have all the cool sounding RPG elements, but when it comes down to it a power gamer ends up just focusing on the combat abilities at the expense of everything else.

Nice to see turn based games making a return. I guess we have the success of X-COM to thank for that.

I never played the tabletop game, but I always thought that SNES game was bad, really bad.

This whoever got my attention...

This could be the best thing ever or a severe disappointment. It's looking good so far. I love Fallout and I love Shadowrun. Hopefully they can get the best of both worlds, or at least something engaging.

Yeah, pretty good so far. Looks like this could be my new Neverwinter for me, a.k.a. that game that never leaves your computer, no matter what.
I was vaguely aware that this was in development- now I'm interested.

Hey, that looks pretty cool.

Although after playing the new XCOM it looks awfully unpolished.

I've always, really liked the world of shadowrun. This looks pretty sweet and faithful to my memory of this game, so far anyway. I hope they have an option for physical adepts in this. :3

This is looking better than Wasteland 2 right now. HBS are showing more tactical abilities.
