Appearance: For all intents and purposes, Nahimana looks like a typical metahuman while in that form, well, except for the rather telltale sharp features and dark eyes eagle shapeshifters have. She?s dressed from head to toe in Native American attire: feathers in her short brown hair (styled in a pixie cut), red face paint across her eyes in a ?V?-shaped pattern, necklaces, the works. ?Course, there?s the mandatory piece of armour: her tan leather kelvite body armour lined coat and a belt covered in pouches. Nahimana has a lean build and a predator?s hungry, focused stare. In her other form, Nahimana?s just your bog standard female bald eagle, honest. However one might mistake her for the various street shaman that wander the sprawl, a mistake she counts on in the shadows.
History: Nahimana was born in the wilds between the Sioux Nation and the United Canadian and American States (or U.C.A.S. for short) and soon enough, she found out that she was different from other eagles. This led to a shamanic commune finding a very disoriented child on their proverbial doorstep. Knowing what she was, they offered help and adopted her, kind of, with the adoptee being able to fly away at any time. Their first gift to Nahimana was her name. They also taught her about Sky Father, spirits, the astral plane and the metahuman world. Everything was beginning to make sense. First off, Nahimana stayed with them out of a sense of gratitude or something like it; they had given her food, shelter and knowledge and continued to do so. Not to mention smiles, which meant happiness, right?
However, the main problem with the commune was its isolation. As a result, supplies - especially specialist supplies - were hard to obtain. Nahimana decided to help the commune with this, but in secret. She took note of what was needed and sought the items out. Soon enough, Nahimana came into contact the Koshari - the network of Native American crime rings. They cut her a deal: perform some talislegging for them and the commune wouldn?t want for supplies. ?Course, this was done on the side in secret; the commune didn?t need to know and neither did anyone else except for the parties involved. In the midst of all of that talislegging, Nahimana managed to find a mate: another eagle shapeshifter like her going by Talons-Stained-Red. Not content with raising her chicks in a city, she dragged him out to the commune.
They soared the sky and swoop down together in an elegant cartwheel display, holding each other?s talons as they spun ?round and ?round, only stopping just before they would hit the ground, they built a nest together and they mated. Her time as a mother had begun. However, it wouldn?t last long. Nahimana was called away by the Koshari for a ?run - they had muttered something about owning favours - and in short, it was a disaster. Nahimana was lucky to get out alive, in fact, she was the only survivor. Supposedly placing the blame on her, the Koshari took her precious chicks away as well as capturing a very angry Red. Afterwards, they sent her details of a ?run and some choice words:
Reason to be here/things to do: The shadows are the refuge of the SINless, and Nahimana was born SINless. As for the latter, she?s only doing this run because of blackmail.
Personality: To understand Nahimana you have to understand one simple fact: she is a sapient eagle who so happens to be able to shift into a metahumaniod form and back. She doesn't kill out of malice, only out of necessary; her chicks are the world to her and she at is more at home in the wild rather than strange areas covered in concrete, steel and filth. Regardless, Nahimana is a quiet person, only speaking when she thinks it is absolutely necessary. Nahimana cares little about the state of the world; megacorps might rule the world and screw thousands over in their bid for power but as long as she can look after her chicks, soar the sky and hunt, she's happy. However, Nahimana is firmly opposed to even the concept of cyberware.

She can also interact with both planes as well and, likewise, things in both planes can interact with her. However, Nahimana cannot astral project and wards might as well be actual brick walls.[/li]
[li]Enhanced Senses: Even out of eagle form, she has the senses of one, including their famous eyesight - pretty straightforward.[/li]
[li]Regeneration: The only damage Nahimana needs to worry about is a shot to the brain or spinal cord, that received from a magical source or in the present of sliver.[/li]
[li]Natural Weapon: While in eagle form, she can use her talons and her beak to hurt people.[/li]

[li]Shift (Human): Nahimana can shift into a human form, however her aura is reveals her true form.[/li]

I'm assuming you could connect this chip to a commlink, unless my idea of how commlinks work is wrong. I thought they were kind of like smartphones, a combination of a communication device and PDA.

@Knight_Captain_Kerr: I think it's a generic term and they come in different shapes- some are wearable like bluetooth headsets, some are implanted directly onto the skull.
