Shadows Fall Discusion.

This is a discusion of the band Shadows Fall, mainly about their song "The Light That Blinds."
Everyone I have talked to about Shadows Fall says that their greatest song ever was "The Light That Blinds." I respectfully disagree. I prefer the song "Redemption." I wish to know your thoughts on the subject. What is YOUR favorite Shadows Fall song?

There's no real discussion to be had here, all you're going to get is a bunch of people listing their opinions.

Speaking of opinions, here's mine:

That's some of the happiest-sounding metal(?) I've ever heard. And they don't have any distinctive sound; if I turn on the radio and Maiden's on, I'll know it. If Slayer's on, I'll know it, even if it's a song I've never heard before.

But these guys? Well, they sound pretty damn interchangeable with every other new metal band coming out. A clean "see we're a diverse and talented band" intro, a rapid pick-up into vocals too scream-y for me to care about and OD'd guitars mixed to become pure background noise, instead of a driving element of the song.

Pfeh, I say.

The only other crazy 'do by a metal head I can think of is Nick Hipa's.

And Stepping Outside the Circle is pretty good. I also found one of their songs a few months ago, but it's slipped through the cracks in my memory.
