This happens...I won't say often, but it's hardly the first time.

Mine a little bit too, served in the Pacific. He did things with spent bullet casings.

Apparently it's a real problem, though, people collect unfired or unexploded shells and think they are safe, and then training videos get made about what happens to their kids.

I wouldn't overstate it as some kind of endemic issue, but yes, there's lots of old heirloom weapons floating about, not all of it safe. Possibly worse a bit in Eastern Europe; because there they also got tons of 'misplaced' Soviet stuff. And there's areas in the Balkans that are straight up still mined.

Apparently the wedding during Bad Bunny's Halftime performance at the Super Bowl was real. The couple had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, but he was performing at the Super Bowl that day, so he casually invited them to have their ceremony with him... at the Super Bowl.

Mind. Fucking. BLOWN. Imagine, just imagine, having that milestone in your life. "Oh, yeah, we met, dated for a few years, then we got married at the Super Bowl in front of millions of people." That's beyond incredible. That marriage has to work; I don't care if he cheats, if she cheats, if they fall out of love, they HAVE to stay together forever. A wedding at the Super Bowl is a contract that cannot be broken, like, it should be a felony if they ever try to divorce. This is a story that literally only those two people will [as of today] ever have.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Bad Bunny's music (don't actively dislike it, but don't seek it out either,) but he gained MASSIVE amounts of respect from me for this move. I hate that the MAGA cult and their orange leaders made this political, but I love how BB dismissed it all to give this couple a singularly unique wedding ceremony for the ages and make his own counter-statement of unity. Give this man the Nobel Peace Prize just to stick an extra salty finger in the festering wound of MAGA's hatred.

I have two new favorite Olympic sports: the women's Luge and the women's Skeleton. The former shows camel toes flying at your face, and the latter has women's bouncing butts. It's glorious, 10/10, would recommend.

I suppose "make me smile" would be an overstatement since we are still dealing with the same fucken shit. But it makes me think, and now it makes you think.

This makes me furious. I play the piano semi-competently, but then I see videos like this, and it's just disheartening. That much raw talent and ability in one person is just unfair. I watch the video below about once a year to remind myself how much I actually suck; I can add your video to the list. Dear God, why wasn't I born Asian and with 38 fingers??? Not really asking too much!

Ah, but they probably had to practice a lot to get that good, and so they missed out on things that you do, like posting lots on the Escapist.

I'm hoping history forgets them. Like they get mentioned somewhere, there's a full stop on the sentence and then they're never brought up again. Like a stupid subplot in a movie or TV show.
