Here are some of my personal favourite video game masterpieces. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

This next one takes a minute to get good. Just stay with it. AND BY GOD DON'T PLAY THE GAME IT SUUUUUCKS!

I could put a lot of Rise Against songs here and think of it as appropriate, but I will choose this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkPCb-uEjaI&ob=av2n Behind Closed Doors, if you were wondering.

Gustov Holst's The Planets Suite. Specifically Mars and Jupiter.
Mars is simply epic and Jupiter has the most powerfully emotional section I have ever heard in music.

Ronald Jenkees is the shit.

A very sad song, especially if you watch the show.

Bloody Tears

Almost anything by Isaac Shepard. Letting Go, Before Dawn and Gentle especially.

Absolutely this.

But otherwise, could you clarify "most intense, powerful"? Do you mean like pump up, fast pace, or emotionally powerful/intense, or what?

There is a music video that is better, in my opinion, but it's a bit explicit. I might get in trouble posting it. Search it up on youtube under "PAG - The Lady is Dead".

Kinda depressing, but if you advocate gay rights(no joke) this is the song for you.

Moonsorrows V: Hävitetty is very epic and powerful, maybe not really intense but worth a listen if you can handle songs that are half an hour long.
This, absolutely. I've said this several times but I just can't get enough of it.

The entire "Heroin Diaries" CD from Sixx AM I feel is one of the strongest CD's ever released. The struggle he had against a heroin addiction is very present throughout the whole CD but I think this one is the most powerful.

Rachmaninoff Piano Concertos II and III are ridiculously cathartic. A lot of Chopin overwhelms me and leaves me gasping for breath.

There's this one moment in his Grand Polonaise...ohh...
