The good ol' world wide web has been around for a good 20-something years. Whether you've been here since its origin or grew up with it, we've all got some things on it we remember fondly. What do you have nostalgia for?

One of the first games I ever played was King of Buttons 3 [http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/326242]. It kept me addicted for weeks, trying to unlock absolutely everything. I've discovered it again recently, and am having a blast. Sure, it's a bit immature, but that's part of its charm!

I remember a snowboarding game at bonus.com or something that I used to play at Elementary school. Oh and the impossible quizzes! How they taunted me.

Mine is probably Rejected:

Also, this thread got me thinking about old PC games I used to play, and now I have Commander Keen on the brain:

You're welcome for the nostalgia.

I think that Metal Gear Awesome was the very first flash animation I ever watched on the Internet. Also, Chuggaaconroy's old videos tend to put that feeling of nostalgia in me.

"An Ordinary Goomba, and a Run of the Mill Koopa. A Team I didn't know about until 2008-2009. But in those years, they would find a way to my heart as one of the first Internet Series I would watch and enjoy. This, is the Untold story, of my Internet Nostalgia, 'Bowser's Kingdom'."

And who can forget a classic series such as (The Original) Unforgotten Realms?

Unforgotten Realms holds an even closer place in my heart because it inspired me to get into Flash Animation.

Last, There's a quirky series I found when I first joined Newgrounds called "SRM":

I became friends with this guy. I even made some Homages/Parodies of this show, which he liked.

I have nostalgia for damn near anything. But tonight my brain narrowed it down to this.

A small community built around a fan shrine, and it's subsequent reincarnation times three, and the decade of fun it was.

I remember, back when Myspace mattered, that I was part of a group called 'The Final Fantasy Fanatics'.

It was an AMAZING group, a real community.

The reason WoW used to keep me enthralled were the stories the players made and the way the community felt like it existed outside of a LFG window.

This is a bit crude, but actually tells a story. Whether you find it funny or not though is really gonna be a flip of the coin.

EDIT: Oh damn, I was ninja'd by someone. I didn't expect that.

I also remember being around ten or eleven when I discovered StickDeath.com. The site was fucked up but I found it funny then, nowhere near as funny when I went back to it as an adult.

I remember playing most of the flash games made by Artix Entertainment. If I remember correctly, I had an account for Dragonfable, Adventure Quest, and Mechquest. Somewhat simple games, but such good memories.

Now those were fun times, I actually had a paid account on Adventure Quest (well, I suppose technically I still do, seeing as it was a one-time payment kind of thing). I must have wasted hundreds of hours playing those games, life was so much simpler back then (for starters, I had hundreds of hours of free time to play games).

OT: I remember when ArmorGames was still called GamesOfGondor, does that count?

Aaaaaah you stole mine! xD

Yeah, Homestar Runner takes me back reeeaaal far for me and my friends. Heh, we still throw around random quotes from the show without any relevance to our conversations we're having and we'll all laugh. And nobody would know what the hell we were talking about. It's awesome. xD
