You must not live in America. I can name for you the people who would most likely spearhead the campaign against Wal-Mart if this would happen. Haven't you heard of the Christian Right?
[sub]I guarantee that this Shelby Knox is a *****[/sub]
Well, here we go again ladies and gentlemen. Yet another person who thinks women are treated like 1830 slaves in Alabama. I just don't understand, women have everything equal in society(at least in America), and get quite a few breaks(as I'm sure alot of gentlemen would agree). And they don't even have to sign up for the draft!
Ladies, your rights have been secured, and I respect you as an individual, equal human.
But that doesn't mean I can't ogle the ones that are half naked.
You started by comparing my physical appearance to hers. You can only do that if you have a reference for both people. Which you don't... So... We can chalk this one down to "straight out of your arse" then?
When patronizing someone, you shouldn't misuse your own language quite so much. It doesn't lend itself to the illusion of superiority so much. Cases in point...I didn't compare your appearance to anyone. Since you asserted that an average-looking woman was quite hideous and that supposed hideousness had an inextricable link to her belief in civil liberties, I asked what caused you to think that you were hot shit. It was a fair question and I'm sure you have some pics of yourself on your hard drive...the phrase is "chalk it UP to." The rest of that sentence is composed of the kind of stuff that kept Orwell up at night.
Then why did you proclaim it so boldly, as though you were being daring or courageous by saying it?
Caliostro said:
I don't follow celebrity gossip for the most part, so you'll have to link me to the actual info. That said, I never said only ugly women are idiots, or that beautiful women are never retarded. I said that in this specific case, aggressive feminists, I don't recall a beautiful one, and if they exist they're definitely the minority.
Again, with the poor language. You can head over to dictionary.com for the definition of gossip if you like. Reading up on films one loves and the people who make them does not constitute gossip. It's not exactly the same as reading up on which celebs are fucking.
The rest of your comment is marred by a sort of distortion that makes me wonder if it's intentional or if you just listen to this sort of pundit all day long. Firstly, your initial comments were of sweeping generalizations and were not at all specific. You asserted quite strongly that all feminists that you were aware of (and by extension so must all of them) were as "hideous" as you presented Ms. Knox to be. I further wonder what constitutes an "aggressive" feminist in your newly amended statement. Do you mean only activists and writers, because if so that's hardly fair. Have you taken a look at ANY activists and writers lately? Not exactly supermodels. While I perform a Bing search for actresses who identify themselves as feminists, I wonder - since you surely agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what exactly was the point of your original assertion?
Geena Davis, Ellen Page, Ashley Judd, Julia Styles. Then again, if you think Ms. Knox is "ugly" then I suppose these four are simply "OK looking."
Buzzer sound! Why are those ellipsis there? No reason, you just felt like it. See, I can nitpick too. And I'm way better than you at it. Let's leave it at this shall we? Good.
Even if Ms. Knox is ugly "for a woman" (which she is not), she's probably still prettier than me, prettier than you and almost certainly prettier than Caliostro.
Did someone not attend school the day they were talking about what a comparison is? Yeah... Don't skip school kids.

In essence, you failed miserably to understand anything at all. I'm noticing a pattern here...
Allow me to rephrase my point in very simple terms for you. I'll try not to use words with more than 2 syllables (no promises though):
What I meant was that there seems to a connection between the women that are ugly and feminists that can't take a joke. I even mentioned that it was specifically to the ones that can't take a joke and jump on everything.
I can't put it in simpler terms. If you don't get it, you have bigger problems than an internet argument. Namely in the reading comprehension department.
As for "she's not ugly!", that is a subjective opinion. As I mentioned earlier, to me, she looks like someone put make up on road kill. You don't think so. Good for you. To me you have very low standards and to you I have my standards too high. Or we both consider that the other one has bad taste. That's the only conclusions we can draw.
What you did, however, and try to keep up because we're gonna use big words now, is a blatant over-compensatory movement. You're taking this way too personally to be just "an argument", which would point to an emotional connection with the particular subject. Maybe you're a girl with low self-esteem. Maybe you're a guy with a bad or otherwise unfulfilling romantic life. Maybe you're a bit of both. How's that? Close to home? Don't answer that. Partially because I can't trust your answer (even if it's true you'd certainly lie your ass off), but mostly because I don't honestly care.

Ellen Page is cute, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Ashley Judd and Julia Stiles are nice. Also it's "Julia Stiles" according to google. But either are, are you telling me these are all the same retarded level of feminist as the one mentioned in the OP? As I told you I don't follow these people's lives.

Sigh. I listed 2 points and separated them with ellipSES. Again, this is acceptable. I'm also not patronizing anyone and I never claimed to be the most intellectual person on here.
Ya got me. What I meant to say is that I only compared you to her because you were claiming that you only date Scarlett Johansen look-a-likes and that only really ugly women are feminists, statements usually made only by really ugly men like Rush Limbaugh (see Liquid Grape's response again).

That's the second subversion of the Law of Identity I noticed. This is the point wherein a more stereotypical internet dweller would state something like "obvious troll is obvious." I'll go ahead and un-abridge the quote you defined as gossip. I said that reading up on the people who make the movies one loves - directors, composers, cinematographers, actors, etc. - isn't the same as reading up on who's fucking whom, the latter of which would categorically be considered gossip. But thanks for taking my advice.

Using the archaic form of pundit is like using the archaic form of sophist. Pundits such as Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity are known for their charlatanry. I listened to one of them the other day, who posed the question, "is a book worth more than a human life, and why?" and refused to accept the content of any book as evidence that said book may be worth more than one life. That is what we call punditry.

Here is my totally straight up not giving a damn about political correctness, or about the damn grammer police to distract the topic to fluff themselfs up, Feminazis in my opinion(only an opinion) are a buch of women who are needing a reason to ***** and complain about every little damn thing a guy does that they feel should be equal totally ignoring the fact that men and women find different things funny or entertaining. By nature men a very competitive, way more so than women. Which also explains why men get into fights. From what ive seen it would seem all feminazis are envious of men, instead of focusing on thier gender differences and embracing it like almost all guys except metrosexuals, feminazis strive to have it the same as men, except they base thier stances on emotion, hence this articles topic. Getting offended then trying to come up with demands runs void when its a subjective stance. My ex was a femnazi activist and a fucken annoying as hell prude who never shut the hell up about everything offending her. I took the high road as did many of her other exes and gtfo. One of My mottos is embrace differences because if all was the same it would suck. Femnazis need to learn how to Stop bitching already and go jump in a lake.

Well, here we go again ladies and gentlemen. Yet another person who thinks women are treated like 1830 slaves in Alabama. I just don't understand, women have everything equal in society(at least in America), and get quite a few breaks(as I'm sure alot of gentlemen would agree). All men over the age of 18 in the US still have to sign up for selective services and can be drafted at any point and time until the age of 35.
Breaks-It's generally a rule that the man pays for dates, the man pays for expensive ass presents, man generally gets the short end of the stick in relationships.

If Bush couldn't get the draft brought back at any point during the Iraq occupation, it ain't comin' back. The draft point is moot.
True, it's generally the rule that the man pays for the dates. If you're dating a self-absorbed narcissist, it's generally required that you pay for "expensive ass presents." I suspect, regardless, that if you love her you will WANT to pay for expensive presents.
"Man" does not generally get the short end of the stick in jack shit. What's your source for this, Wikipedia? Women do hold a lot of power in relationships, simply because it is given to them. And most women can get laid with greater ease than us guys. Also, the divorce court system does tend to favor mothers over fathers. That's about where society's favoring of women ends.
We don't have to worry about rape unless we're heading to prison. In fact, we're targeted far less for robbery, mugging, and every sort of violent crime. We are abused in relationships far less, and when we are it's usually by a person who is not as strong as we are. We don't get paid less for doing the same work. We don't have to put up with pregnancy, periods, menopause. We are far less often held up to an impossible standard of beauty and told that we are worthless for not meeting it.
How can the two possibly compare? No real man would ever complain that men have it worse in the Western world, or anywhere else, than women.
Key phrase you totally missed i said "it would seem" meaning not absolute, perhaps you should better learn what that phrase means before assuming its aboslute. Very good of you to admit that your petty bigotries are but opinions and are not "aboslute." I think I'm going to say that as much as possible until it enters the lexicon as something legitimate. I'm genuinely sorry that you had a poor relationship with a woman with whom you didn't get along. Have you ever thought that such activists as Dr. Martin Luther King, Howard Zinn, and Gandhi might not all be the same, that your experiences with one may not be an indicator of what they are all like?
Also, Tom LeyKis is a shock jock. All dick jokes and pandering. Not worth anyone's time. How did you date a feminist while listening to a cheap Howard Stern knockoff?

Like i give a crap what you think about me haha call me all the names you want doesnt prove a damn thing. But How are comparing feminists to dr mlk howard zern and ghandi yes i know they are not the same, but i just told you what i heard alot of the damn feminists said not to mention she did happen to host a few meetings at the apartment every now and then it wasnt like i couldnt hear wtf these women were saying it was at that point i started to realize that alot of these women are freaken messed up, every now and then as i passed by theyd ask me my point of view and iif i disagreed theyd insult me or just typical guy response and from some of the crap these women said on a personal level vs men is not that shocking but im basing my past encounter with feminazi activists on how i see it. Sure they got alot of good points when it comes to equal rights which id openly agree, but sometimes it seems thier stance on somethings is just utterly bitching, besides calling me biggot, what the hell is your position and your stance on this topic? Your insults run thin cuz i can care less what insults you throw out.
Feminists are after the Duke because (Ka-DUUUH!) the Duke is a machismo madman out to slap some booty. And they want WALMART, the people who embody ridiculous profit, to ban it from their store. Is that about right? Okay, lemme add to that laughter.
'Kay. Now, I don't like Walfart, but there are some things I recognize here, such as how they're in love with money and wouldn't ban a game on the say-so of the feminists. Of course, I'm going to have to say that the call-out against the Duke at all is just stupid. IT'S OBVIOUSLY A NON-SERIOUS GAME AND DOESN'T CONTAIN HIDDEN MESSAGES OF GENDER DOOM! Some people.
Feminism does not aim for equal rights. It aims for reducing the rights of men, and overall a myriad of wild demands including but not limited to banning a humorous video game because of a "sexually offensive" game mode. I'm sorry but if it offends you, don't play it. I'm positive you can EASILY avoid the content of the game entirely if you try. Let the people with a sense of humor purchase and play the game
Let me again repeat that I am a woman, and I do not consider myself a feminist nor do I support it.
I respectfully have to differ with that perception. If anything, feminism aims to achieve equal rights by eliminating the privileges of men. But even that would be reducing it.

Now, I've said time and time again that I disagree with this whole absurd attempt to ban the game from Walmart. I take issue with its contents, because I don't think DNF is quite the untouchable chalice of satire most people interpret it as, but in spite of this I wouldn't ever dream of attempting to censor it.

You're either trolling or have no clue what Satire is when it literally slaps you on the bottom. ;P
