Hello, I've been playing a browser game called Shintolin lately and I'd like to recommend it to those of you who enjoy playing games like urban dead. It's like UD in that you move from square to square, enter buildings, search, and attack in much the same way but beyond that becomes drastically different.
The game is set in the neolithic age so you're some of the last cavemen or the first to start farming. The game didn't start with any buildings or towns every settlement, longhouse, and hut you see where made by players. Forests regrow slowly but it is possible(though improbable) for none to be on the map, resources in tiles will run out if people search there to much(these also regenerate but at a faster speed than forests). There are seasons in game and they affect the amount of resources ex- in winter its hard to find things in meadows while in spring or summer items are in abundance. It is important to keep a good supply of food because you need to eat every so often(if your hunger bar goes to 0 and you have food you will eat it automatically) because if you don't your health along with your total health will begin to drop(it's not permanent). The cool thing about this game is that you can make your own town(called settlements) pretty much anywhere you want(provided you aren't too close to another town or are trying to make it in water or something silly like that). when you start you can choose where you spawn from a list of towns(town leaders decide weather or not they want people to be able to spawn at their town) or you can chose to not spawn at any towns if you chose to do that you will spawn on a random tile. you're allowed to have three characters so you can try playing a few different ways: you could become a really good fighter, a healer, a farmer, a guy who builds stuff, or you could just steal things.

I'd love to see you guys make your own settlement(and thats not just because if the game hits the 1000 players mark they might add a volcano)
