Shiny Pokemon

I got one shiny in diamond, and one shiny in sapphire. They were a shiny Zigzagoon and a shiny wurmple (both evolved into a dustox and linoone respectively).

I caught a shiny magicarp that turned into a red garyidos. Don't remember anything about it being story based. This was in gold for the gameboy color.

I recall having a conversation with my brother over shinies (We were both playing Dimaond/Pearl so that's probably how it came up) and I was lamenting over how they never show up and how much I'd love just one, didn't matter what.
As he agrees with me I hear a weird noise from his game.
"Hey Max, what was that noise?"
"Huh? Oh, seems I encountered a Shiny Pellipper"

As if that wasn't punishment enough the first and only shiny I encountered was my 3rd wild fight in Emerald, it was a Poochyena, shame it was on an emulator thus impossible to trade.

My girlfrined found her first shiny in the first patch of grass at the start of ruby and it was the first pokemon she saw. It was a shiny Zigzagoon and it was before she had pokeballs. D:
Hersecond was a shiny donphan that she still has in Heart Gold.

My first shiny was years and years ago on Pokemon Silver, but I got a shiny Larvitar on Mt. Silver. I plan on sending him over to Pokemon White and playing through the game with him since he's only level 20.

I managed to catch almost all of the shiny pokemon I encountered, if only because I spend most of my time loaded with pokeballs outside of places like the Safari Zone.

I managed to get a shiny Smoochum and shiny Treecko in some sort of pokemon hack, and I have a shiny slowpoke in Heartgold. I had a few more in other games that I sold or started over on. Bleh.

Oh God, you found a shiny in the safari zone? Most nerdrage inducing thing, ever.

Isn't there some battle tower in one of the games with wild pokemon in it that you can't catch? I remember people saying they've found shinies in there, which is even worse.

OT: I have a shiny roselia and a shiny kricketune. Both of them are shit Pokemon so I just shove them into the box and do nothing with them.

In Pokemon Firered, a trainer has a shiny espeon and the Battle Factory in Emerald has a shiny Walrein. The game is just taunting you by that point.

I caught a shiny Slugma in Ruby before I even knew about shiny pokemon, I thought it was a glitch lol.

I found a silver Slugma in Ruby, evolved into a purple Macargo.
I found a green Zubat in Emerald, evolved into a green Goldbat and then pink Crobat.

In FireRed, I saw a damn shiny Ferelgator in the Battle Tower, and in LeafGreen, I saw a shiny Espeon in the same place. I avoid the Battle Tower like the plague now.

Slightly related but way more lucky, in Platinum, I caught a Machop with the Pokerus. Before the first gym.

The only one I ever caught legit was a shiny rattata in silver, of course due to the battery in the cartridge dieing and causing the game to corrupt I lost it.

A shiny rattata I can deal with losing, my original red version mewtwo and the mew I got from the 2000 Stadium Tour that happened to be on the same cartridge at the time I was a little ticked about.

Now all I have is the entei, raikou, and suicune from gamestop.

Not once. I've been a religious player since red version hit Australia, and I've never so much as seen a shiny (besides Red Gyarados, of course.)

My friends? Many of them got into it just as HG/SS came out. They all have caught at least one shiny.

Also, "OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD!OHMYGOD! I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT!"

Like everyone else, I have caught the Shiny Gyarados in Gold and Heart Gold.
I have also caught a Shiny Zubat and a Shiny Dratini, both in Fire Red.(Dratini was in the Safari Zone)
I have seen a Shiny Graveler in Heart Gold, but it used Explosion before I could catch it.

first non red garydos shiny encounter? A purple wurmple... in saphire before you receive your first pokeballs. I ran around showing it to everyone as proof, with copious amounts of nerd rage of course

From what I remember theres ways to trade pokemon from R/B/Y to G/S/C but no way from G/S/C to R/S/E. but from there on any GBA cartridge pokemon games can get to D/P/P via "pal park" I think its called... basicly i dont think any GB/C pokemon can make it to W/B. sorry for the bad news

I once restarted, encountered a Rattata equivalent in PkMn Silver before I had pokeballs available so I had to kill it to continue.

I also encountered a shiny... Pelicon? PkMn Sapphire? Caught it. IT's got green where it should be blue. I don't like it the pokemon. I wish I had a shiny (something good).
