Shocked and surprised!

Have you ever played a game, maybe even played it 4 times and then you find something out about the game that makes you shocked or surprised?

Like not relising you can crouch or aim down the scope or something. The point of this thread is to reaveal our stupidity and to hopefully enlighten someone else that might be making the same mistakes.

For me, i am currently in my 2 and a half play through of the witcher and i only just realised i can power up my sword swings. this might not seem like much but it surprised me. that i have played the game for i guess 100 hours and havent accidently powered up a sword swing before today.

I know I have done that countless of times but my memory is failing me at the moment. The only thing I can remember is playing the new mechanic class in Maplestory. It took me 21 levels to realise I could double tap the arrow buttons to use a rocket boost!

Team Fortress 2 is an analogy for the most kickass paintball game ever done. It's so incredible that it was quantum divided into innumerable different continuities (servers)

I completed Dead Space before i realised you could use a locator line to find your next objective.

And the map system is horrible in that game

I played fallout 3 for hours and hours and for some reason didn't come across that teddy bear factory until my fourth playthrough...

I was like was this here before?!

Oh and my ex bf and his best mate played all the way though Fallout without knowing there was a run function they walked everywhere or clicked on things... It was the first thing I found when I went into the game and laughed at them profusely 'Don't play the first one you can't run and it's annoying'. /facepalm
