"Shocking" Pokemon Announcement Coming Next Week

Truly shocking? Nintendo announching Pokemon failed and they'll bury the entire concept of pokemon along with all its copyrights/trademarks s long as needed for pokemon to be forgotten by every last living soul. Now that would be shocking.

There are only two things they could say about Pokemon that would qualify as shocking:
1. "We're cancelling the series. It's done, there won't be any more. Thanks for the support over the years."
or
2. "The new Pokemon will be going in a more adult direction. There will be gratuitous sex, graphic violence, pokemon being torn to pieces with copious blood splatter. It will be R rated, have foul language, full frontal nudity, drug themes and pikachu will be perma-dead in the first five minutes".
There's nothing else they could say that would qualify as "shocking". Chances are there will be another game, it will be the same as every other, only for the Wii U and use the new tablet controller. SHOCKING! No, I didn't think so.

the only pokemon announcement that could shock me is if they announced ash was going to shove a thunderstone down pikachus mouth and get that little rodent to evolve.
