Shonen Characters Battle Westward in J-Stars Victory VS+

Jesus, and here I was thinking that we'd NEVER get a Jump game released over here because of how much of a licensing clusterfuck it would be. Well, good for BandaiNamco for overcoming all of that for the fans. I keep finding new reasons to love these guys.

So glad theres another Bobobo fan on here. Sad Viz gave it the same love as Nick gave Invader Zim.

I'm upset that the Anime was never finished in itself. It literally ended right before the last 2 major arcs. What makes me even sader is I can't find places to read them, nor have people ever translated the second Bobobo series: Shinzetsu (True Theory) Bobobo. T^T

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't like about the series: it's damn near impossible to find. I've even gone to book stores looking to straight-up buy the manga but I've yet to find a store that has the entire series. u.u

Just a random bit: this will always be my favorite Bobobo attack:

I'm not even a huge Yugi fan, I just think it's hilarious that he had anothing Shonen character hiding in his afro. :3

Apparently Kanzuki was as estactic as a schoolgirl when he heard that the guy who made BoBoBo wanted to put his character in his manga that way.

Also I hear the sequel series wasn't as good, it apparently focused less on humor and more on story which turned fans away.

Also, the anime got canned cause parents complained about it being too violent.

Still have my copy of the manga which features that particular page... Still a fucking awesome moment in said manga...

Yep. Toei Animation cancelled it, right before the last 2 arcs too. The next two arcs were to show Bobobo's other siblings, primarily his older brother Bebebe, who was briefly shown in the anime, and his sister Bububu who looks like Denbo but has a different Hair-Fist ability.

The roster is impressively expansive, though I wish there were more villains available. A game that would let me fight with, say, Ulquiorra, Crocodile, and Kabuto would take my money so fast the universe would collapse. >.<

Younger Toguro was also a strange choice for the third slot in YYH, though I'll take him, sure!

Still, I'm getting more and more impressed by niche Japanese titles making it westward of late. especially on the vita. I hope this trend continues. my library for the handheld keeps on a'growin.

On one hand, I can't say that I really care for this at all. But, on the other hand, any game that tasks me with beating the snot out of Dragon Ball and Naruto characters still has major inherent interest.

This has the same problem as INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US: It makes no sense. I don't know the full roster, but it seems pretty likely Goku will be the strongest by far. He can blink out entire galaxies with one attack. Is impervious to nearly any damage. Vaporize planets with a fart...

So, even though I love Kenshin, Kenshin vs Goku is basically Harley Quinn vs Superman. A human against a near god. First punch leaves the human torn in half within a literal tenth of a microsecond.

No if anybody is going to be overpowered simply by their source material it's going to be Medeka. Her entire schtick is that she is literally perfect and can immediately copy and perfect anything she sees somebody else do effortlessly. Amusingly enough she's an interesting character despite her mary sue status since not all abilities can actually be or shouldn't be perfected such as talking to people (can't) and killer instincts (shouldn't)

My point is that if she saw Goku flying around and blasting stuff in person she would instantly be able to do everything he can but better meaning he would be screwed.
