I've got a baseless theory that whenever you get so close to achieving something but ultimately fail, it's way more annoying than usual. I'd like to share a couple of those moments with you, and maybe you can too.
So the other day I nearly won a Collector's Edition of Starcraft II. It was part of a challenge where you had to Speed Run the Lost Viking mini-game in Starcraft II (I wanted to give the game to a friend because I already have it, though not the collector's Edition) and I came in second place by literally seconds:
That was quite annoying. Worse is that I've got a good thing going on with this girl I know, but even though she really likes me, she won't go out with me because she's terrified of screwing things up. The fact we are extremely close makes it suck even more, somehow.
So hopefully you can share your own frustrating moment and we can all sympathise and be happy together
