Short FPS Single-Players that lasted Long for you.

Modern Warfare 2 was heavily criticsied for having a short 2-3 hour SP, but for some reason when I played it on Veteran and beat it, it said I played for 10 hours. O_O I mean I am not bad at FPS, sure there was some parts that I got stuck on but not enough to warrant 7-8 hours more. I wonder what I was doing that made it take so much longer... (didn't search for intel first time through.)

So have you ever played a short FPS SP but it lasted you much longer?

MW2 on veteran finding all the intel took me about 7 hours but like 2 of them were spent looking up intel locations. The thing about harder difficulties in FPS is that there's always a lot of filler area between defend points, and 90% of the time you can run past a shit load of enemies to the next checkpoint if you keep adjusting your path.

The singleplayer is not actually short, but I hate it when I lose an ally Marine or Grunt so I revert every time I lose one. A normal 30 minute mission can last around 2 hours.

its decent length but not really long, halo and half life 2 had nice long single players

Not really, since long for me is 20+ hours and Halo 2 is beaten in 5 hours
