Short hair on women?

I find it amazing on the girls who can pull it off. The first people that come to mind are Pink and Halle Berry.

Short hair? Long hair? Do it. Either way. I find both attractive. Though I do associate certain hairstyles with certain traits. Longer hair might indicate more "femininity" and gentleness. (Though I don't mean to imply that women SHOULD be that way. You should behave however you want to, as long as you're still a good person.) While shorter hair may indicate strength or even punkishness sometimes. These traits are all things that can be sexy. (I do love strong women.)

It depends on the look you're going for. Short hair will certainly get you MY number, at least. In terms of visuals, I care a lot more about the size of a girl's waist than the size of her hair. I feel length is less important than neatness. Most hairstyles can look good if they're smooth and clean.

Oh Escapist, that's classy. Real classy.

As a general rule, girls can pull off "boyish" haircuts provided they have super-feminine faces. If it's an older woman, or a heavier girl, the results can be a bit... dykeish, for want of a better word.

tl;dr: Depends on the girl.

To women who are shorter than me, I always love short hair. I don't know, it's like a package deal. As for the rest, it totally depends on the physique and most importantly, on the face.

When a woman actually pulls it off, it is literally something to behold and to eat with your eyes. I think the way they embrace a woman's cheeks is nothing sort of amazing.

Now that I think about it, all the examples I can recall of 'girls looking fantastic with short hair' also look fantastic with long hair. Emma Watson, Olivia Wilde, Morena Baccarin, they're all gorgeous with any length hair.

Sooo... yeah, if it works it works. As a general preference though, I like to be able to run my fingers through a girls hair while I kiss her.

Depends on the woman.
I must say that sort hair that sticks out in random directions is very adorable.

I have, all my life, had rather long hair and bangs.
It's simply the easiest for me to cut myself, I cut off my ponytail every spring, and my bangs when they start to interfere with my eyesight.

I have thought of a shorter style every once in a while, but I doubt I could keep it even remotely good-looking by myself, and if I decide to grow it back, there will be time when it's too short to put on a ponytail, but too long to stay out of stuff.

I prefer girls to have short hair. Not skinhead length mind you, but something like this:

Although I did vote for this shepard for Mass Effect 3:

I can like that, but generally I'm not a big fan. When it comes to short-short hair like what Emma Watson had, then it's extremely fussy for me. If it's shortish hair like the girl Daystar posted, then I'm more open. I find shorter hair works better with a different colour, such as blue or red. Usually, I just prefer longer hair on women.

Look at Pink. Look at Demi Moore in Ghost. Look at Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta.

Or just save yourself some time and look at the one that trumps em all, Sinead O'Connor.

I admit not all women can pull it off, but the same can be said for any length and style. At least short hair is low maintenance.

I cut most of my hair off when I was about 15. Apart from a fringe, it was less than an inch long. I loved it at the time but it didn't suit me at all. I'm still trying to grow it out long six years later.

I do think it can look amazing on some women, it just didn't suit me.

I think all girls should try it once though!

Personally, I hate it. But my opinion shouldn't affect your decision.

I think there are a few people who can pull it off, but I should clarify that I think those people look good despite their hair, I still think their hair makes them look worse than they otherwise would.

Bob cuts and similar length styles I almost always like. You could probably take it up to around ear level but shorter than that and it really starts to depend on the individual. Kathleen De Vere of LRR always looks right with short hair.

She didn't exactly age gracefully though, what with being crazy and all.

Speak for yourself. If I shave my hair off when I'm in my 40s and still look that good, I'll consider myself lucky.

I was mostly referring to fact that she's pretty insane.

Oh god! Are hair threads the new drowning?! Please no, not again.

OT: Yeah short hair kinda only works well on certain women I guess, it's not for me. Shoulder length or over is good. She'd be wearing glasses preferably. I love me some glasses :3
Don't worry, should it become a fad, I shall be there to completely ridicule it into oblivion.

Maybe by reviving the "Dog vs Human"-thing as well.

This gives me a great idea.

"How do you like the hair on dogs"
Dogs- Short hair a no-go?
Long hair on dogs-cute or annoying?

And of course:poll: Do you want your hair to be styled by a dog, a human or a sentient whirlpool?

I always thought short hair on girls was extremely attractive. I suppose you have to have the face for it, but when a girl pulls it off I think it's the most gorgeous thing in the world. I'd qualify short as anything above shoulder length. That said, too short is a bit of a turn off. Like, buzzcut short.

I would say more often than not I think short hair looks great on women. Like, really great.
