.third person
thats about it
im having difficulty with whats its gonna be about and the main character
Any Ideas?

The Step by Step Survival of Jack
Jack walks down the street. He is going to buy a dreidel, because his family is Jewish. He has a little sister and a big brother. His happy stroll is stopped by a figure right in front of him.
He sees a familiar being, he studied about it in school today.
Now we will observe as our friendly neighborhood lad learns "How to Evade a Zombie"
Step 1: Observe your surroundings
Jack looks around and finds himself trapped in an alley. He notices a sturdy wooden stick and picks it up.
Step 2: Decide to run or fight
Being trapped in the alley, Jack decides to take the second option.
Step 3: If fighting, deal a deadly blow to the infected subject's brain
Jack swings the wooden stick and hits the subject in the forehead. Unfortunately, he was never a good fighter and often gets bullied in school. The subjects grips him by the throat and begins consuming a healthy dosage of Jack's flesh. If Jack's dad hadn't died in Iraq, he would have learned how to fight and would have escaped and safely barricaded his home. Now think about what we learned.

I am a very disturbed individual. I hope your teacher likes it. If she doesn't, I'll make a story about Jack's mom. I will only give out that Jack's mom is an English teacher.

I have an idea. You could try something set in an alternate universe where there is no christmas. You could also use an alternating style between a person in the Christmas universe and the person in the No-Christmas universe.
