If you travel to Work or School and carry electronics, would you say their physical safety (Due to water damage, damage from general force on your bag or damage to your phone as you take it out) is a real issue to you? (1-10, 1 being "Of little concern" and 10 being "Of great concern")
9
Are you at all worried about the potential to be stolen from your bag (In ways such as someone unzipping and removing your valuables when you are not looking)? (1-10, 1 being "Of little concern" and 10 being "Of great concern")
6
If you were to have locks on your zips, would you prefer locks which require a key (To be carried separately) or simply locks which are physically not simple to open (In a way that a thief would probably not bother trying) (You may answer Key or No Key)
No Key
Do you use head/earphones when travelling with your bag? If yes, then what size are they? (For example, just earphones or full-sized around-the-ear types)
Earbuds
Do you often find them [Headphone cables] to be tangled when you take them from your pocket/back to use?
Yes
Have you run into times where your phone has ran out of battery whilst out? Would a small emergency charger be of interest to you in this case? (1-10 on how useful this sounds) - It would work for phones, PSP's, DS's and other similar devices.
Yes
How about a laptop/netbook/tablet charger, which could provide roughly an hour of additional use (1-10)(Ignore if you do not carry any of these devices)
No

*2 (useful, but would be too heavy. A laptop is already quite heavy and any charging unit fit for a laptop will add a significant weight.)

*Portable electronics of any kind are very expensive where I live, so 10

*Keys can get easily lost, but a tough to open and a noisy zipper would be great, so no key.

Do you use head/earphones when travelling with your bag? If yes, then what size are they? (For example, just earphones or full-sized around-the-ear types)
*Just the earphones,much more practical.

Do you often find them [Headphone cables] to be tangled when you take them from your pocket/back to use?
*Yes, it's annoying.

No Key - Keys are SO easy to lose/misplace. Especially with the size they'd have to be.
Do you use head/earphones when travelling with your bag? If yes, then what size are they? (For example, just earphones or full-sized around-the-ear types)
Yes. Ear only.
Do you often find them [Headphone cables] to be tangled when you take them from your pocket/back to use?
Not often. I wrap them around my PDA.

5 - I am careful, but in my pockets they're pretty safe. However with a bag, extra padding is always appreciated.

Are you at all worried about the potential to be stolen from your bag (In ways such as someone unzipping and removing your valuables when you are not looking)? (1-10, 1 being "Of little concern" and 10 being "Of great concern")
10 - When I take public transport, I never have my valuables in my bag for this reason.

Do you use head/earphones when travelling with your bag? If yes, then what size are they? (For example, just earphones or full-sized around-the-ear types)
Yes- Earphones - iTunes style. However if I were going to buy a bag, I would want one capable of supporting full-sized types, in case I decide to upgrade headphones.

Do you often find them [Headphone cables] to be tangled when you take them from your pocket/back to use?
No - I wrap them in a loop and put them in my pocket. Perhaps you could add a feature where the user could wrap the earphones around a storage thingy?

Have you run into times where your phone has ran out of battery whilst out? Would a small emergency charger be of interest to you in this case? (1-10 on how useful this sounds) - It would work for phones, PSP's, DS's and other similar devices.
7 - My iPod hardly ever runs out of battery but my phone does.

0 - Don't have a laptop. Although, for a feature like this, weight would likely be an issue.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your project!

Have you run into times where your phone has ran out of battery whilst out? Would a small emergency charger be of interest to you in this case? (1-10 on how useful this sounds) - It would work for phones, PSP's, DS's and other similar devices.

How about a laptop/netbook/tablet charger, which could provide roughly an hour of additional use (1-10)(Ignore if you do not carry any of these devices)

If you travel to Work or School and carry electronics, would you say their physical safety (Due to water damage, damage from general force on your bag or damage to your phone as you take it out) is a real issue to you? (1-10, 1 being "Of little concern" and 10 being "Of great concern")

Are you at all worried about the potential to be stolen from your bag (In ways such as someone unzipping and removing your valuables when you are not looking)? (1-10, 1 being "Of little concern" and 10 being "Of great concern")

If you were to have locks on your zips, would you prefer locks which require a key (To be carried separately) or simply locks which are physically not simple to open (In a way that a thief would probably not bother trying) (You may answer Key or No Key)
Key.
Do you use head/earphones when travelling with your bag? If yes, then what size are they? (For example, just earphones or full-sized around-the-ear types)
No.

6-7, so of pretty high concern. I only carry my iPod and my phone at the moment, but soon I'll be carrying a laptop too.

10. People would always nick shit from my bag in secondary school, just banter and messing about, but still worried me how easily they could take my stuff. I mean I got used to it and could hear when they were doing it in the later years, but I mean if I were to drop my bag somewhere briefly, then hell yeah I'd worry about my stuff getting stolen.

Key. Though might I suggest a lock that you have to know a code to open it?
Keys are fine though, just be sure to include 2-3 with the backpack. I know I'd lose one.

I sometimes do, simple small earphones.

10, that's a pretty awesome idea. As long as it had a good charge value, 3-4 hours would be great.
