So far, the Activision vs Infinity Ward Debacle has got me pretty riled up and I don't even play any Activision/Blizzard games.

1) Gamers seem to be siding with IW, mostly due to the underdog effect, Bobby Kotick and the fact that they made MW2.
2) Blizzard has an amazing PR team, community or otherwise.

Depending on how this thing goes through, I may or may not boycott Activision's games, though it won't matter to the casual gamers, a lost sale is still a lost sale

But the PR on this is just horrible, maybe it's true you can't cover up shit with sprinkles.

If you ask me, the entirety of Activision should be fired.

But from objective, non-hateful standpoint - yes. This whole "IW debacle" is going to cost them, and Activision's PR team seems to be utterly incompetent in dealing with it. I mean seriously, trying to take over a studio which gave them most lucrative title EVER just 4 months ago? They're not merely stupid - they're probably braindead.

Actually at my local gamestop, we are intellectual people who look at the facts, and all having been sayings "yea IW seem like alot of whinny douchbags"

That is how the case seems to be playing. They were breaching a contract, admited that activision didn't with the "fired before royalties are due" part, yea I am sorry, but the two guys who got canned sound like kinda school kids complaining they didn't get their candy fast enough.
So what kind of facts would that be to lead you to this conclusion? I might have a lack of information here.

1) Those two guys created MoH and CoD series with Infinity Ward
2) Activision owns Infinity Ward but has a contract with the heads
3) MW2 sold $1 billion, Bonus to be paid on March 31, fired on March 1.
4) So far Activision has cited "Insubordination" and nothing else. Even if they were not obliged to reveal the information, a PR press packet could paint those 2 in an incredibly bad light if they were thinking of going over to EA.

Maybe some new info would change things. Link me somewhere?
