I liked the Tomb Raider films as well they were pretty close to the source (hot babe in tight suit jumping across ruins with an over the top story).
Advent children was pure awesomenes sure it's a glorified cutscene but an awesome one at that.
Uwe boll should be cruisified or whatever for raping perfectly good game licences and bringing it's disfigured child to the masses.
But comics also suffer from this hollywood licence rape. Aside from Sin city, 300, V for vendetta and Batman returns (haven't seen watchmen yet) there are barely any good comic to silverscreen transitions.
sure some are nice to look at and provide some low level entertainment for 1 view only. but most of them don't even hold op to their early 90's cartoon versions.
I'd watch spider-man, X-men and batman animated anytime over their respective movies.
I think it's hard to translate a medium that already removes the boundries of reality towards another medium that has more restrictions.
Let's face it Polygons and inklines have far more possibilities dan real life actors.
