should i buy dissidia?

im debating if i should buy dissidia or not im a fan of ff 1-10 but im not sure if i will like dissidia. i like some fighting games like soul caliber and power stone but not games like street fighter. i would like to hear what the people who have played the game think. is it fun? is it worth $40? is it another dissapointing spinn off?

I haven't played it, but I've played the demo and I have to say that Cloud vs. Tidus is ridiculously fun and over the top. The fighting has an interesting system and there are plenty of RPG elements to make it feel more like FF. You should read some reviews of it, and if you think it looks good, then you should get it. This is your choice.

thanks i did see some reviews but its always more reliable to hear from people that arent reviewers that have played the game. im hoping it s good tho, havent touched my psp in awhile.

wish you could play the awesome CG cutscenes in Final Fantasies instead of watching them? If your answer is yes, then Dissidia is for you. If your answer is NO, guess what, I would still recommend Dissidia, since the amount of content on it is amazing. Too bad I got rid of my psp and psp library to get an x-box.

My friend had it and it was pretty repetitive and dull, only get it if you're a HUGE FF fanboy or a fighting game addict.

Seems like you would need to play the previous Final Fantasy games to get the most out of it.

Currently playing through Final Fantasy 5, I have a few more left then I will have finished them all (yes even the horrendous Game Boy games).

ive beaten all of the gameboy games. adventure was great but legend 1,2,and 3 weren't so great.
