It's a good game, but as many have pointed out it is a lesser (but still the original) version of Lfd2. I think it should be rather cheap right now? Treat yourself to some more "zombie" mayhem, it's well worth it.

The two games are very similar, but L4D2 has more weapons and slightly better graphics. It also depends on whether or not you live in Australia, because the censored version of L4D2 is utter shit compared to the uncensored, and is less violent than the first one.

You don't have to buy the first one, but you should if you want more levels and stuff to play with.
And that is why I am hunting down Michael Atkinson. Who's with me?

Little behind the times, bro. He's resigned from the frontbench. Hopefully, we'll see some movement on the topic when SCAG meet next.

He's leaving. Currently, with Atkinson leaving, Jack Thompson barred, and Uwe Boll faded into obscurity, the video game world is at peace.

If you're a PC gamer, I'll say wait untill L4D1 Passing drops. Steam is likely to come in with a big discount on the game to promote it.

I'd wait a few weeks and find out what the new guy's stance on R18+ games is before we hunt anyone down.

I'd say go for it. You can find the first game really cheap these days, and although the novelty has mostly worn off, it's still a great game.

Besides, the upcoming DLC will combine both games, so...

Left 4 Dead one was actually a lot better then number two... The second over complicated it. The formula was great in number one.

Waste of money.

And it get's boring really really fast. I played through L4D god knows how many times and the same dark environments get really repetitive.
